If it helps, there are many new people discovering this place -- I didn't know until fairly recently that the imdb forums were gone for good (I thought there was something amiss but hoped it was temporary. I felt like an idiot when it finally dawned on me, haha.) So I started looking for a home and stumbled upon this place!

Maybe as things get livelier your old friends will return!

Thanks! Yeah, once I realized the forums were not there and it was not my browser or some temporary imdb malfunction (I generally don't spend a lot of time on imdb), I googled and found various posts around the interwebs about it. And thus found this place. For people who spent a lot of time there, I am sure they all knew immediately -- for more casual users, at least going by current threads on Reddit, people are still figuring out that imdb closed, so I don't feel so bad. :D
