Where Have Blacks Succeeded?

Every ethnicity (white/Indian/Jew/oriental) has succeeded in their own native lands and the lands of others.

Where have blacks succeeded?

reply

The prison population.

reply

Figures you'd say that.

reply

Is he wrong?

reply

Even though blacks are free they are still slaves to their culture.

When every race, Hispanic, Asian, White, has issues getting along with your race, it’s a you problem.

Take Oprah, the most successful woman in the world. Achieved via the support of millions of white people. An overwhelming majority of white people liked her in the 80s and 90s.

In the early 2000’s she paid $250k for original slave manifestos to hang on her wall. Someone who does that, is someone who is still full of hate. Those manifestos have zero to do with her. Yet she holds them as though she was the one on the boat. And she carries this hate with her everyday.

As do her pals Mr and Mr Big Mike. Michael Obama stated when they were inserted into the presidency: “this is the first time in my life, I’m proud to be American”. These clowns are still running things in DC. They also run Netflix. They hate the country. They hate white people. Their content and repeated actions confirm it.

Race relations were great in the early 2000s. The best they had ever been. Then the hate filled Obamas took office, and took race relations back a century.

Some get it. “400 years of slavery, that’s a choice” - Kanye West

It's not Kanye's fault. He has a condition called synesthesia.

Whats crazy if they had never been brought to this land... they'd be living in African mudhuts right now, and not making millions playing games.

America so racist.

reply

"Race relations were great in the early 2000s. The best they had ever been. "

ikr? everyone loved it back in the 50s when pointy hatted whites were stringing up black people from trees if they looked at a whit woman . good times.

reply

I don't get it. Gd5150 said race relations were great in the early 2000s and you responded with sarcasm about the 1950s. Your response doesn't seem to make any sense.

reply

yeah i must have read it wrong probly read it as "the past generally"

I still hold that that and everything else he said was wrong

He was trying to crush his own straw man in the argument.

I don't think Africa as a whole bent over backwards and took the magic sauce on offer - that's a success in my book.

reply

africa is a shithole and has been for the last 10,000 years. someone how people have been starving there since 1985.

reply

You can blame the UN for that one. They deliberately keep former European colonies in the crapper so they can use it as a front to steal money from people through fake charities.

reply

"the UN keep africa poor so they can get money from fake charities"

wow go find yourself a tinfoil hat gif.

reply

Wow... Egypt is in Africa...

reply

Egypt which was not a civilization built by negroes.

In turning every city they ever dominated into a ghetto, while the ones in power stabbed their former homies in the back.

YOU HAVE PROBLEMS.🫤

reply

Yes, Amerigirl is a racist GUY!

reply

Perfect thread for identifying racist clowns that can go on the old ignore list.

reply

Fine.

But that didn't answer the question.

reply

So blocking people you don't agree with so you can live ignorantly in an echo-chamber of your own creation? Like most people on your 'side', your idealist dreams will never become reality so long as you continue to ignore reality. Work with the way things are, rather than trying to force the way you want things to be.

reply

Racist trolls don't need to be debated, indulged or heard out. They can be ignored and fuck right off! Looking at your posting history, that apparently includes you.

reply

Oh really? Interesting! Given this is literally the first time I've ever posted outside of movie discussion, I'd be fascinated to know what you're referring to!
Also your ignorance is astounding - writing off things you disagree with is how fascism works.

reply

The question asked was where have blacks succeeded.

Uncleruckis unable to cite a single example. Just zero substance accusations that have nothing yo do with the question asked. This is typical of lemmings only capable of regurgitating from the Democrat rectum.

African-American success stories despite racism. Blacks created rock and roll, jazz, rap, hip hop culture, Southern cuisine, blues. Black inventions: light filament, traffic lights, gas mask, refrigerated trucks, automatic elevator doors, color monitors for desktop computers, modern ironing board, clothes wringer, blood banks, laser treatment for cataracts, home security systems and the super-soaker children’s toy, etc..

African-Americans were also critical in building the U.S.. making it the wealthiest with 400 years of free and exploited labor.

Extremely successful trade routes lasted for millennia throughout Africa to Asia and Europe where gold, silk, salt, spices, cloth, etc. was traded. The vast empires, kingdoms, and trade routes were destroyed with the Atlantic Slave Trade.

AAAaaaaaannnndddd......... today?

reply

"Where have blacks succeeded?"

Your verb is past tense. You need to accept defeat in your race-baiting, hate-mongering incitement attempt and move on.

Find a better hobby!

reply

There's no race-baiting.

It's a legitimate question.

Where?

reply

Hip Hop, an example Keelai refers to, is historically and presently dominated by black people.

reply

Hip Hop is horrendous and so is the culture.

reply

I genuinely doubt you know anything about hip hop, to be frank.

In addition, black people were highly instrumental in blues, jazz and many forms of electronic music.

reply

Why would you doubt that? Because I don't like it? How ridiculous.

I'm not denigrating black people or black musicians at all. I have a lot of respect for and like a lot of black musicians. Eminem is white and I can't stand the noise he makes. His voice is nothing but grating to me.

P.S. Sister Rosetta Tharp was fantastic!

reply

>Why would you doubt that? Because I don't like it? How ridiculous.

Becase hip hop is a varied genre of music, and you not liking it doesn't make it objectively bad.

And again: black people were highly instrumental in blues, jazz and many forms of electronic music.

reply

You're beating a dead horse. I'm sure you hate certain types of music. Art is subjective. I have yet to hear any hip hop that I like and I'm exposed to it on an almost daily basis. I am and have been a musician for decades and I'm very open minded. My musical tastes are also VERY eclectic.

And I say AGAIN that I have a lot of respect and liking of many black musicians and showed you one example. Did you even watch the video? Have you ever even heard of her? She's one of the early pioneers of rock and roll.

I'd be willing to bet that I know plenty more than you on the subject of the (great) influence of black musicians.

reply

>You're beating a dead horse. I'm sure you hate certain types of music. Art is subjective.

I would never say a genre as expansive and as wide as hip hop is "horrendous", and it does not have a singular culture.

>And I say AGAIN that I have a lot of respect and liking of many black musicians and showed you one example. Did you even watch the video? Have you ever even heard of her? She's one of the early pioneers of rock and roll.

So then you agree that the OP is clearly ignorant of black history in culture then.

reply

I told you I have yet to hear one hip hop song that I like even a little and I also told you I have heard a LOT of hip hop, so in my opinion, it is horrendous. What do you think about death metal? Djent? Screamo? Polka? Bagpipe music? Lots of people think some or all of those are horrendous. I think death metal is horrendous, yet I like some screamo. Djent, not so much. I think Frank Zappa was a musical genius, but to me, the vast majority of his stuff is un-listenable garbage, same with Buckethead.

Your segue into black music is not what I think the OP was talking about. He did say "succeeded in their own native lands". I don't think that had much/anything to do with the obviously positive influence/contributions that millions of black people have had on the world.

P.S. I can't think of any "singular" culture. Hip hop culture is a recognized thing, but like pretty much any culture, there are different varieties under it's umbrella.

reply

>I told you I have yet to hear one hip hop song that I like even a little and I also told you I have heard a LOT of hip hop, so in my opinion, it is horrendous. What do you think about death metal?

I like death metal. I prefer black metal though.

>Djent?

It's decent. It can vary. It can be very derivative, but David Maxim Micic - for instance, is clearly on a much better base level of quality than many of the djent-metalcore chug chug clones.

>Screamo?

Screamo can be great.

>Lots of people think some or all of those are horrendous.

And it doesn't reduce the quality of them.

I don't mind bagpipe music and I don't have enough exposure to polka to comment.

reply

Hip Hop is technically not music. Its just noise with people talking in rhymes.

reply

Define music please. All music is "noise", or produces noise. Lots of music is rhythm based. Why does the vocal technique mean it's not music?

reply

Sounds like it is too black. Wonder if the industry is doing something about that.

reply

North Africa is populated with Arabs and Semite people... not negroes. They don't count.

reply

Nonsense!

You're another moron who burns books instead of reading them.

reply

Yeah yeah yeah... the topic title is Blacks succeeding, not Africans succeeding.

The first place you named was ancient Egypt which was not a civilization built by negroes.

reply

More ignorant nonsense from you.

Read books instead of burning them.

reply

And he named much more than that

reply

Yeah, from Northern Africa.

reply

"African-American success stories despite racism. Blacks created rock and roll, jazz, rap, hip hop culture, Southern cuisine, blues. reply

LMAO, most of those on that list are innovations, not inventions. Not taking any credit away, but most of those modern items were created by research and development teams at corporations...where TEAMS of people create products.

Your last sentence is 100% ahistorical woke bullshit.

reply

"Hip hop culture" and "rock and roll" were created by corporations?

I am literally just quoting Keelai.

reply

Yes. Without Corporations funding the music, rap/hiphop would have died back in the 80s.

reply

There's no reason to believe this at all. Most music genres have existed for decades without any notable funding. That you claim this in itself is fundamentally ignorant to music.

"Rap" itself is a vocal technique that does not require funding to exist.

And also, what about Jazz, Blues and early Rock & Roll? And many electronic subgenres pioneered and developed by black people?

reply

African-Americans were also critical in building the U.S.. making it the wealthiest with 400 years of free and exploited labor."

Actually lets extrapolate this sentence. So by this logic, you should be in favor of shutting down the southern border due to corporations intending to get rich off(exploit) the almost free labor of the people crossing it...

Yeah?

reply

Some people say rap is a form a square dancing calls.

Also Blondie helped make rap go mainstream in 1980.

They're ignorant racists, most likely. Hip Hop and Rap squarely, prominently derives from the African-American community in the United States.

That's not evidence of Blondie somehow "making hip hop" go mainstream.

reply

Posting links is not evidence. In your own words please explain how Hip Hop and Rap squarely, prominently derives from the African-American community in the United States.

reply

The links explain the history of Hip Hop, the development of the genre. Are you genuinely arguing that Hip Hop did NOT develop from the African-American community?

This is unironically on the level of arguing that Black Sabbath had nothing to do with the development of metal music.

reply

That's not evidence of how blacks are somehow responsible for Rap and Hip Hop.

Are you genuinely arguing that Black Sabbath did not develop the metal music genre?

reply

>That's not evidence of how blacks are somehow responsible for Rap and Hip Hop.

What the fuck are you on about? Almost all of the proto hip-hop and early hip-hop artists were black Americans.

>Are you genuinely arguing that Black Sabbath did not develop the metal music genre?

Your reading comprehension is shit. I'm saying that your argument about hip hop is *equivalent* to arguing that Black Sabbath did not develop metal.

Do you think metal music came from white people?

reply

>What the fuck are you on about? Almost all of the proto hip-hop and early hip-hop artists were black Americans.

In your own words, please explain how blacks created hip hop, where it was created and who created it. Please use evidence to back up your claims.

Evidence please that white people created metal music.

Why would my words, apparently without any backing sources constitute evidence?

These are articles on the history of hip-hop, fuck brain. There is nothing to debate here. The evidence is there. Hip Hop derived from African-Americans. If it did not, then where do you allege it came from?

Also, Rateyourmusic - which is the largest documenter of music releases online: https://rateyourmusic.com/genre/hip-hop/1/

It's like giving credit to Bangladeshis credit for something the Japanese accomplished because they both countries in Asia. Sunny Hostin is complaining about erasing black accomplishments. She lists three which are blacks invented the freezer, performed the first open heart surgery and GPS. A black man came up with the idea of a refrigerated truck I think. An African American did perform open heart surgery and a black woman did not invent GPS but was involved. I think it's people like Sunny who want to erase people from history who don't look like her.

In 1893, Williams became the first African American on record to have successfully performed pericardium surgery to repair a wound. On September 6, 1891,[11][12] Henry Dalton had been the first American to successfully perform pericardium surgery to repair a wound.[

The work of Gladys West on the creation of the mathematical geodetic Earth model is credited as instrumental in the development of computational techniques for detecting satellite positions with the precision needed for GPS.[16][17]

Again, Keelai shows she has the gall to bring up Timbuktu, Mali.

Slavery in Mali exists to this very day there, with hundreds of thousands born into it as legacy slaves who still serve their “Massa’s” descendants under force!

When French colonialists ruled the region, it was banned at the turn of the 20th Century, but now with the independent republic there which is under no European control, it thrives. They still want to keep their slave classes.

Slavery is an African tradition that was brought to the Americas and other regions. It’s only the whites, hispanics, asians, etc., who eventually go through a morality-based process to abolish it in the name of human rights. Africans and some Islamists show no such initiative, and it’s for the same reason that slave revolts were always rare even in Confederate times.

I don’t advocate race-based hate, but if you’re of European descent, please… clear your conscience. Your ancestors already faced their trial by fire and made amends so you wouldn’t have to. Stand tall and brim with pride over this.

When someone like Steven Spielberg makes movies like Amistad and Lincoln, we need to stop putting ourselves in mental purgatory and see it for what it should be—propaganda that offers a plea to African-Americans to have some goddamned self-respect. It has no other application for most of us alive today in Western civilization except as a history lesson.

reply

Nonsense. There is zero comparison. Prisoners of war and criminals became slaves in Africa since there were no prisons. It was a punishment. But, slaves still had some rights and were considered human.

European slavery was based on skin color with no rights and treated like a commodity aka: object.

Your attempt to defend the Atlantic Slave trade is your guilt trip.

Btw, slavery is presently illegal throughout Africa and the rest of the world. In the U.S., slavery is still legal and practiced!!!! Read the Constitution. It never ended in the U.S. European-Americans still practice slavery!!!
