I wish they would all do that..

reply

Good riddance dumbass you've been irrelevant since 2005.

reply

1995

reply

Well he made the song "American Idiot" after all

reply

There've been many before him who promised to do the same after a political decision they disagreed with. How many of them actually followed up on it, I wonder?

reply

I don't think many of them really have that option. They usually found out after making inquires. Most countries only welcome the rich, or the young and college educated, majority of those people are likely neither.

Whatever your stance on abortion is, it is what it is, but when he said we’re a “miserable f***ing excuse for a country“, in my eyes he can now officially fuck off and get the hell out and never come back.

I know he said this sucking up to the fans in the UK, but he should be thankful he’s from a country where he is free to say things like that, and was free to play music for a living and become a millionaire. There are countries in the world where saying things like that wouldn’t go so well for him, and there are countries out there where he wouldn’t have been able to to follow his dream of making music.

I’m so goddamn sick of these twats, so yeah, and this goes for anyone residing here who thinks our country is so awful…if you hate our country so much, then by all means, get the fuck out and stay out! It’s very simple. These celebrity douchebags say this every time there is a hiccup in their politics, but they rarely do it. Leave! Move to another country and start bitching about all of their politicians when they do something you don’t like, because that’s what politicians do in EVERY free country. Good riddance (pun intended).

reply

I bet he starts by insulting the Royal family.

reply

Millions of people gave their lives and everything they had for the freedom our country provides, and this fucker who made millions IN THIS COUNTRY by playing 3 chords on a guitar is going to say “fuck America” and we’re a “miserable excuse for a country”? Seriously, he can eat shit and die.

Be as mad as you want about the abortion ruling, and to be honest I don’t even disagree with the anger, but when that turns into “fuck this country”…get out and don’t come back! You won’t be missed.

reply

Well said.

I’m from England and we have our problems with politicians and there’s a cost of living crisis
but both the U.S and UK are some of the better places to live in the world, especially in terms of actually becoming a break out star and making millions like you said. Look how many English actors are in Marvel films.

If British band Coldplay were putting on a gig in America and frontman Chris Martin said ‘Fuck England’ and then he said England is a ‘miserable excuse for a country’ then I’d tell Coldplay to go and eat shit and die as well.

Billy Joe Armstrong just sounds like the biggest bellend who thinks he’s super edgy.

reply

So we are left with jerks like you who have no concern for the humanistic quality of creating a working society.
Either like it or get the fuck out? Maybe we should kick jerks like you out in order to make a better environment for everyone? How's that grab you?

reply

Obviously you aren't paying attention. The crybaby liberal that sings for green day is the one that said he wants out because he doesn't like it, this poster just agreed vehemently. I know reading comprehension is tough for lefties, so glad I could help. 😘

reply

Jerks like me? 🤣 You don’t know a damn thing about me.

I don’t tell people I hate it here and call my country a “miserable excuse for a country”. HE is the one who wants to leave. HE is the one who wants to denounce his citizenship to the US. So get out! Simple solution.

Yeah, try and kick me out of the country. Good luck. I’m actually happy here and appreciate that I was born here, despite people like him and you constantly telling us how much our country sucks.

reply

No. You should definitely fuck off to another country.

reply

Sounds good to me

reply

Who cares? I never even heard of this shit.

reply

He’s the lead singer and guitarist of 3 piece power pop-punk, beat combo Green Day (Informative Andy).

But yes, who cares?
