IMDb was a shitheap too at times. Though the trolling was less political from my memory.

This site does have a lot of right wing assholes who live in the 'go woke go broke' echo chamber that is the conservative side of youtube and twitter.

The amount of them who think Russell Brand was set up by the evil woke elite and the sheer amount of them who hate Rachel Zegler for the crime of being... a feminist and... pro-LGBT rights (the horror!) is crazy. Also some of the posts on the Barbie boards are hilarious. Apparently it advocates for the genocide of men and is promoting abortion!

Probably. What I do know is that this isn't an orchestrated hit by some mysterious woke elite working in the shadows trying to silence Brand because he's speaking out against them.

There have been rumors of Brand's behavior online for years now and he got an 'anti-harrassment injuction' against a masseuse who claimed he assaulted her, this injuction was taken out in 2014! This whole cancelling treatment he's receiving has been a long, long time coming. Way before he became some right wing youtube conspiracy theorist.
