No Mutt, no movie.

Wonder if they will explain what happened to Mutt. But who knows if this movie actually gets made, Ford is pushing 80.

reply

Mutt was THE WORST THING about the last movie. Sh!tBeef is THE worst actor out there, and fuck anyone who doesn't agree with me.

reply

I DON'T AGREE...HERES THE LUBE.

reply

LOL

reply

Hahahahaha. Good one. No matter who is a good actor and who is not, Indy 3 sucked.

Opps, I should have said #4 is bad, I like #3

reply

I think 3 is awesome. 4 on the other hand...eh. No.

reply

Yes, I made a mistake, #3 was good. Crystal Skull sucked.

reply

Okay, just checking. There are some people who really don't like 3. 😊

reply

The complete retard MCU497 being the most vocal one here.

reply

#bringbackMutt!

reply

No kidding! This guy has it exactly backwards. Indy NEVER had an illegitimate son named "Mutt" in the first three movies, the REAL, classic, Indiana Jones films from the 80s. Once they added "Mutt", its not an Indy movie anymore, its just bad fan fiction.

reply

I agree...lol

reply

it was a dumb idea to kill him off.

reply

It was a great idea to get rid of mutt......if he was played by a better actor maybe not. But he wasn't. So they torpedoed him.. 😂

reply

instead of killing him, they could have had Mutt on a adventure of his own...

reply

I don't think it has to be explained. Why would he be with his father in his thirties? Though, i think he'll be mentioned, or even get a cameo.

reply

Someone hypothesized that Boyd Holbrook is playing an older Mutt.

reply

He’s not.

reply

Dude it is getting made. It's well into filming now. There are pics of Harrison in his Indy Garb. Where tf have you been???😂😂😂

reply

locked inside working, lol , no doubt its getting made, just hate when movies dont acknowledge characters leaving/missing...

reply

Mutt will probably get an explanatory mention. I doubt his existence will be ignored entirely. But he really should not be a character in this story because Shia is just not right for this franchise, and in fact the very character probably should've never been created. I'm not even a Shia hater like many are--I kind of like how fucking crazy he is--but he shouldn't be in an Indy movie.

reply

I ENJOY THE GUY IN ALL HIS FLICKS...TOP NOTCH ACTOR WHEN HE IS COMMITTED...I VERY MUCH ENJOYED HIM IN CRYSTAL SKULL.

reply

I liked him in Lawless, Fury, American Honey, Borg vs McEnroe and The Peanut Butter Falcon. Those were all solid films and he was pretty good in them.

I also liked the whole real-life game of capture-the-flag he played with the 4Chan trolls. That was pretty entertaining.

reply

HAVE YOU SEEN THE TAX COLLECTOR...DUDE WAS BADASS IN THAT FLICK.

reply

I did. He was good in it but he had a much smaller role than I expected. I thought it was going to be HIS movie but he was really a side character.

Did you hear he really got all the tattoos he has in that movie--as in, they're permanent--and he did it specifically for that role? WTF? Why?

reply

DUDE IS WACKY AND OVERLY COMMITTED TO HIS ROLES IN A VERY LOVABLE WAY./

reply

killed off main character - Mutt, replaced with woman (see Terminator reboot)
Indy was old
Indy needed the help of a woman
Nazis again
waited too long between movies
too expensive to make
Disney ruins icons and legends
Disney ruins franchises (see Star Wars)
no hype or marketing
terrible reviews
box office is terrible
no Spielberg

reply

I DIDN'T WATCH IT...MIGHT NOT EVER WATCH IT...INDY IS BORING TO ME...ALWAYS HAS BEEN.

reply

considering Mutt is the son of Indiana, it will be odd whatever their explanation is for him not being in the movie. also wasnt Shia supposed to take over for Indiana for future movies? I thought that was the plan.

reply

Maybe Mutt just decided adventuring wasn't for him and decided to go be a chemist or something.

And I think that may have been the plan--it seemed to at least be implied if not stated directly--but I think that after CS and Shia's character got the reception that it did that the studio decided that was a bad idea.

reply

They’ll probably say Marion is dead and Mutt moved away.

reply

They probably don't even mention it. But yeah saying Marion is dead is an easy out.

reply

If they're smart, they just pretend Indy 4 never happened.

reply

Just like Bobby’s death was all a dream on Dallas!

reply

Worked with Die Hard series. In Die Hard with a Vengeance they pretended Die Hard 2 never happened and I see it as a true sequel to the original movie. No need for the second movie.

reply

Hopefully, Mutt met the same end as Joe Pesci did in "Casino."

reply

Macking on Sharon?

reply

Will they explain the absence of Mutt?

reply

Yep, Mutt died in Vietnam. Pretty anti-climactic is you ask me
