Losers passing judgement.....

I'd rather hear what her teammates think of her problems at the Olympics. It is unlikely the trolls on this forum have anything relevant to say.

reply

I don't consider myself a troll, I don't relish in her quitting, she is an 🇺🇸, so am I and I root for her success.

There are two facts to be recognized.

1. The act of removing herself from competition for mental issues is unprecedented in the Olympic games.

2. The mainstream media (that I've come across)never mentions this fact.

If you take these into account, one can come to a conclusion that Simone Biles is above reproach.

That is a sin. Part of a news medias job in America should be to inform and promote critical thinking, and no person should be above reproach.

reply

"Part of a news medias job in America should be to inform and promote critical thinking"

You have apparently been out of the country since about 2016. The job of the mainstream media has changed to activism, achieved by obfuscation, lying by omission, and just plain lying.

reply

You are the dumb fuck that brought it up.

Challenging people to say something bad about a grown woman who is a quitter.

WHY?

WTF is wrong with you?

reply

Let's see you get up on the mat or the other equipment they use then judge her. If she felt like she was unable to perform for any reason, then it was probably better that her more capable (at the time) teammates stepped in. It is not every person for themselves you know.

reply

I was never a fan of hers to begin with but this made her look weak. And I would say the same about any athlete who avoids competition the way she did.

reply

Whether or not I can perform gymnastic moves is irrelevant. Besides, I have no criticism of her gymnastic talent. It's the arrogant bragging, followed by the pathetic quitting, that revealed her weak, spoiled character.

reply

Why was her quitting pathetic? Should she have competed when she felt she was not up to it?

reply

I was not going for triggering the trolls here; it's kind of boring too.

reply

I am a proud liberal. Passing judgment on all people, living or dead, is what we do!

reply

Buncha fat-assed losers sitting at home on their comfy couches, criticizing a top athlete from withdrawing from an extremely dangerous competition, whining that she hurt their national pride and their buttholes by refusing to go out there and break her leg or her spine for them by competing for their vicarious pleasure when she's not 100%!

https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-egeob2Ps3uA/T_FI0lVH6RI/AAAAAAAAFGE/0-xCNAWyW8E/s1600/Edit_USA_Gymnastics_Trials_Day4_0275.JPG

There are people who couldn't even climb onto a balance beam, or stand up on one if someone brought them a stepladder.

reply

Douchebagsayswhat?

reply

Is that honestly the best comeback you could come up with?

reply

^ This.

I’ve always liked you, Otter.

reply

She called herself the GOAT, so she welcomed that criticism.

reply

Biles is not the firsts gymnast to stop competing due to safety issues. Would you perform those kinds of stunts if you had the twisties?

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/olympics/what-are-twisties-simone-biles-explains-gymnastics-struggle-tokyo-olympics-n1275460

reply

She brought up mental health.

reply

So? Why is that a problem? Mental health is not an issue in athletics? Based upon my experience it certainly is.

reply

Because she only wants the positive comments targeted toward her. She called herself the GOAT and was fine with everyone saying it, then when she quit in her team and got criticized for it, she's complaining. You have to take the good with the bad. She can't have it both ways.

reply

You utterly worthless loser dirtbag!

Sorry, sorry, I didn't mean that, I actually like you and your bad jokes! But I wanted to make the point that pretty much everyone on Earth only wants positive comments targeted towards themselves. The difference between a normal person who hates being criticized and a celebrity monster is what they do or try to do about criticism. If Biles sues everyone who prints unflattering things about her, or gets armies of fans to harass or dox critiical members of the public, then she's a jerk. But if she just doesn't like being slammed, then she's a normal human being.

reply

To me, it's not that she doesn't like being slammed. It's that she doesn't like being slammed because of ego. She called herself the greatest of all time and even went as far as having a goat put on two of her leotards.

https://www.gannett-cdn.com/presto/2021/05/23/USAT/6e3153c4-99d2-48b1-9eaa-153dc6627e7e-GTY_1319535854.jpg

https://img.olympicchannel.com/images/image/private/t_16-9_3200/v1565217099/primary/wuphfzb4bcbr0zhz6ly9

reply

How do you know *why* she doesn't like being slammed? Nobody likes being slammed, I don't and I'm sure you don't, so why are you assuming that her dislike of being criticized is somehow worse than anyone else's?

The thing is, I'm not even a fan, I haven't watched a gymnastics competition in a decade or two, I'm just boggled by the irrational and hateful things people are saying about her.

reply

I'm just saying if she wants all the positive stuff to get out there, especially if she's calling herself the greatest of all time, she should accept the criticism like any other. You can't only accept the positives. She quit on her team, she should accept the backlash.

reply

How, exactly, has she "failed to accept the backlash"? I've been following this story and I haven't heard of her whining or raging, or trying to mobilize armies of fans to harass all the idiots screaming that she's the worst person who ever lived?this

What, you want her to make hold a press conference to announce that she's not really the greatest of all time? Because the fact is that she may well be, in spite of having this one bad week here.

reply

Why did she say she was the greatest of all time? Some of her competitions are with a team and it sounds like she's belittling them and then the self-proclaimed "greatest of all time" quit on them.

But first she claimed she quit because of the pressure of competing but then she comes out saying her aunt died. It just sounds like she was too scared of failing that people would no longer see her as the greatest.

reply

Why are you so determined to bash her for having normal feelings for someone in a high-pressure situation, where they're expected to do things that are extremely physically dangerous. And yes, for all the sparkling leotards women's gymnastics is extremely dangerous, screw up on a balance beam and you're lucky if it's your shoulder or ribs than break and not your skull.

That's one of the things that really disturbs me about all this, it seems that all the people who are really angry at Biles are men, most of them white. Would they be as angry and contemptuous if a white male athlete did exactly the same thing as Biles?

reply

If she had backed out of the Olympics and not called herself the greatest, I would have had no problem. Her position could have been filled with someone who wanted the opportunity of only she had just quit earlier.

reply

So very determined to criticize her for whatever she does... why?

I don't suppose there's any point in asking, though. I am curious about why this makes some people so irrationally angry, but the ones who are getting irrationally angry are exactly the sort of people who aren't going to examine their feelings.

reply

I'm not angry. I just think she quit on her team.

reply

It's not self-proclaimed. That originated with the media because they know sensationalism gets attention. Here's another glaring example of that:
https://www.wtva.com/content/olympics-content/575043432.html?ref=432 Biles only tried to accept that mantle.

reply

It doesn't mean she has to stitch it on two separate leotards.

Eric Clapton was called a God is the 60s but he distanced himself from the statement because he didn't think he was a guitar god and thought it was too much pressure.

reply

If you had read the link to USA Today I have posted just below, you would see why she did that but apparently you don't want to look at anything that might compel you to have some objectivity.

reply

I did read it. All it did was show stats of a climber to show why she was the greatest and then it finished off by saying her event was added to the Olympics.

reply

You have a reading comprehension problem. I clearly said USA Today, posted a day ago, and just below this one.

reply

You wrote:

You made the assumption that I wasn't willing to read it even though you never told me about the USA Today article until the comment I quoted above. How can I read it if you never made me aware of it beforehand?

reply

Then there's the story behind the story:
https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/columnist/nancy-armour/2019/08/07/simone-biles-aka-goat-has-fun-her-critics-and-her-leotard/1949582001/

reply

This doesn't change anything. She tried to answer he critics, but she seems to forget that she also had teammates. She's literally calling herself better than them because some critics for into her head. Then she quit when that spot could have went to someone else who wouldn't have quit.

reply

It tells me that her strategy worked on you.
From what I've seen of her responses to her critics, she just calmly refuted having quit.

reply

It didn't work because she still got criticized and tried to blame the death of her aunt as her reason for quitting.

reply

Maybe that was just one of many things pressuring her.

In any case, read what the father says about her being the GOAT in this article. It's farther down, near the end:
https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/sports/tokyo-summer-olympics/suni-lees-dad-sends-emotional-message-to-simone-biles-after-tokyo-olympics-victory/2571076/

reply

It was the teammate's father who called her the GOAT. It makes it easier for him to say that because his daughter won gold.

reply

You just want to perpetuate this with petty rambling now.

Mosey on down the road with your resentments and closed mind. I'm done with you on this.

reply

I could also say that you're defending her to no end.

reply

That's because I hate a mob mentality and internet pile-ons.

reply

I read statements from her that explained why she did not compete for a while. I was not hearing complaining. Exactly what complaints did she make regarding her break from competition?

reply

She just said she was human and that her mental health was the factor for her to quit. Apparently she even went to Twitter and retweeted people who were defending her.

If she calls herself the greatest of all time and people criticize her, just let it go.

reply

mental health. What a gullible sucker. Excuses excuses excuses. In other words, lies. She's a doper and tried to use mental health for the masking agents found in her testing. She's a quitter, a liar and a fraud and I wont stop saying it, until she's exposed for what she REALLY is.

reply

So your evidence for her doping is what exactly?

reply

Her test in Rio.

reply

An athlete is not a doper when they are authorized to use Ritalin to treat ADHD. https://www.sportingnews.com/us/athletics/news/simone-biles-explains-banned-substance-use-after-cyber-attacks-olympics-rio/188bj114rg1p5195v4bps2jvnn

You are a loser and a liar.

reply

I'd like to know what the person who was next in line to qualify thinks about her wasting her chance. I doubt they'd have used an excuse to avoid looking bad because they were having an off week. It's called competition for a reason, because it doesn't always equate to a person winning. She should have sucked it up, and you know it.

reply

Why don't you find out what her teammates think before you decide she did the wrong things?

It seems that actual athletes understand that Biles had issues she needed to deal with by not competing.
https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/nicolefallert/olympic-gymnasts-simone-biles-reaction
https://sports.yahoo.com/olympics-athletes-send-support-to-simone-biles-after-she-withdraws-from-gymnastics-team-final-195838445.html

What makes you so knowledgeable about gymnastics that you know when they need a break or not?

reply

I noticed you failed to address my very valid point.

reply

Because you are guessing and not making an informed opinion. So you think Biles should have competed even though her performance was suffering prior to pulling herself out of competition? Biles was replaced by Jade Cary and Jordan Chiles.

I think the only ones actually qualified to pass judgement on Biles for her actions are her teammates and coaches. So far they have not criticized Biles for her actions.

Why do you disagree with them? Are you better qualified than those on the gymnastics team to judge whether or not Biles could have performed well? Based on what you said above, I'm going to say no.

reply

You still won't address it? It's laughable at how you're obviously avoiding my point.

reply

Your point is that you want to know what the next in line to qualify would think; have you found out yet? If not, why not? Have any of Biles' peers said she did anything wrong?

If your point was that she should have sucked it up, then who are you to day?

reply

You are dancing around it because you know I'm right. Obviously, whomever was passed up by just missing the cut wouldn't be on the team to comment, but that person does exist in this world right now, and you can't deny the likelihood that I'm right. That person is rightfully bitter that Biles not only pissed away her opportunity, but theirs as well.

reply

Not dancing at all. I'm claiming that there is not a single gymnast who says Biles was wrong to do what she did. But you, a person who probably has no idea what it takes to be a gymnast, has decided you are worthy enough to judge her.

reply

Have you asked every gymnast in the world? That's impressive. Do you realize how stupid you sound making a claim like that?

reply

I don't have to ask. If a gymnast disagrees with Biles and voices their opinion, then we will hear about it. You think a gymnast who believes Biles screwed over America will keep quiet about it?

reply

So when you said "not a single gymnast", you were just talking out your ass. Got it. There's a huge difference between what you've heard and whats been said. You know this, so don't be coy. You also know there may be reluctance to publicly condemn someone, but thats far from saying there aren't people who have those thoughts but haven't said them to a reporter so you could hear about it. Don't be naive for convenience, that's the most pathetic way to defend a position.

reply

So who are these gymnasts who are criticizing Biles? Why are you too scare to admit you have no names to drop?

reply

That would be career suicide. Biles is highly decorated and black. If another gymnast goes after her, he/she can kiss any future in gymnastics buh-bye.

reply

So now they're cowards? Why can"t you accept that everyone has their limitations? Do you think Biles stepped down a for a bit just to reduce America's gold medal count?

reply

Of course they are, if they are holding back against criticizing her.

The worst thing you can be called in America today is 'racist'. Not murderer, not traitor, not rapist. But racist. If you ever uttered the N word in your whole life, you are too be canceled. A murderer can pay a debt to society, come back and find forgiveness. But not a racist.

reply

"Canceled" is what people say when they are desperate to claim that they are a victim of their own stupidity.

Trump has used to word, but his racist demographic does not care; they probably love him for it.

reply

No, it's the word that accurately describes what society does to a person who is deemed a racist. And not just any kind of racist. It has to be against black people. You can be racist against white people all day long. No big deal. But if you are racist towards black people, you better pray you won't lose everything.

reply

So who has unjustly lost everything for being racist against black people? Anyone?

reply

Michael Richards was treated worse than OJ Simpson. His crime? Saying the N word. Paula Deen admitted she said the N word. You would have thought she was guilty of genocide the way she was treated. For saying a word. Not for being guilty of actual racism. But if you utter the N word you are a racist. Do you mean to tell me you are ignorant of this?

reply

You claimed that being racist towards black people might cause a person to lose everything. I asked you for examples of anyone who unjustly lost everything for being racist. Your examples suck and are dishonest to say the least.

Michael Richards was not charged with a crime and continues to earn a living in the entertainment industry. OJ lost a civil lawsuit worth millions and eventually was sentenced to prison for many years.

Paula Deen admitted to using racial slurs after being sued. Her sales increased even after losing several sponsorships. She continues to do well in her business dealings.

If anyone is being willfully ignorant, it is you. You seem to be upset that a person can't act like a racist without anyone objecting to their behavior.

reply

You can be a racist. As long as it's towards white people. If you do it against black people, you will lose your job, your home, your friends and Youtube.

reply

More shifting of goalposts. Why can't you show me a single person who unjustly lost everything for being a racist SOB?

reply

What work has Michael Richards done since he was universally proclaimed a RACIST for all times?
Spike Lee can be racist. Al Sharpton can be racist. They are celebrated because their racism is against white people.
Shirley, you have noticed this.
Black people claim the police are hunting them down and yet not more than a dozen per year are killed by the cops. More white people are killed. More COPS are killed by a long shot.
Most black murders are by other black people, though you would never hear that because that would be deemed racist.
Remember when a gang of black teens ganged up on a white student and stabbed her to death? Probably not. It didn't get one MILLIONTH the attention the criminal George Floyd got. Why? Because the victim was white and the killers black.
And nowhere NEAR the attention those rapists called the Central Park Five got. And they are now millionaires. Who says rape doesn't pay!
I invite you to use the N word at work and see if you are fired. I will use the word 'cracka' and I will probably be promoted. They are just words and words can't really hurt you. Sticks and stones?

reply

God you're dumb. Here is what Richards has been up to since you declared him to be racist. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0724245/?ref_=fn_al_nm_2

The rest of your post is just shifting goal posts. I bet people just shake their heads and walk away from you when you open your mouth. :)

reply

LOL You proved my point. The last 20 years years, he has only done a handful of guest appearances.

reply

I asked you, "So who has unjustly lost everything for being racist against black people?" Richards has obviously not lost everything if he is still working.

Why are you backpedaling so much?

If you're trying to convince me that you are stupid, it's not working. You must think everyone else reading your crap is a complete idiot though.

reply

He didn't lose all his money because he made so much in the 90s on Seinfeld. You actually had to be told this. But you proved my point for me. For 20 years all he did were a few guest appearances. Do you have any conception how little work that is? He said the N word. The guys he called the N word were put on national tv and treated like heroes. Michael Richards was the new face of the KKK. And we had to have yet another national discussion on race, which was tired and old even then.
I truly wish black people were the kind of people they want us to believe they are, the image they sell on tv in ads and in movies. But the truth is they aren't.
They are doing so poorly in academics the Oregon governor removed the math and English proficiency requirements for graduation. Yes, more of them will graduate. Fewer of them will be capable of doing well in a job. Believe it or not, it does matter if you have those basic skills.
Isn't that the subtle racism of lowered expectations?
It's the same when liberals claim black people are basically too dumb to get an ID, their main criticism of any voter ID law.
Last year, we heard how the police were hunting down black people. The truth is something very different, not that the truth matters to liberals. Notice how they claim now none of them wanted to defund the police. The GOP did! LOL
More than 90% of black murders are by other black people. How often did you hear that when you watch an NBA game and they talked about BLM? Never. You would have thought they were talking about the Holocaust. No, they were talking about George Floyd. Do you have any idea how many genuine heroes in the world never get the kind adulation Floyd got? I'm not saying we should vilify the man but TWO state funerals that were more grandiose than Lady Diana's?
Black History Month became Black History Always. I would ask WHY? What about black history is so compelling? Slavery? Black people practiced slavery more than anyone. To this day! Unbelievable.

reply

You say Richards did not lose all of his money now, but five days ago you claimed he did.

When a person says that black people are "this or that". they are judging them all by their skin color. This makes people like you racist. It also means you have poor judgement.

I was wondering how long it would take you to bring up the "blacks owned slaves" trope. Sure they did. But in the USA white supremacy was the law of the land for a long time. How did that benefit black Americans?

reply

No, but if it weren't for the millions he earned BEFORE he was made the worst villain in America, he would be. Fortunately for him, America isn't yet going to take all his money away in the name of equity.

reply

So I'll ask you again. So who has unjustly lost everything for being racist against black people?

You claimed Richards was treated worse than OJ. Richards did not lose a civil suit worth millions and was not sent to prison.

reply

You think it is just that a man who uses the N word is basically blackballed the rest of his life? Really? Tell me how that is fair.
OJ was CHEERED by the black community when he was found not guilty.

reply

People makes choices then have to live with those choices. Richards decided that he would act like a racist, he has to live with it. Maybe he thinks it was worth it to speak his mind.

I did not say anything was fair at all. I was asking you to show me examples of people who unjustly lost everything due to their racist behavior.

OJ being cheered for his not guilty murder trial verdict has nothing to do with your list of racists who reaped what they sowed.

reply

You mean by using the N word, you are a racist? No doubt, huh?

reply

"You also know there may be reluctance to publicly condemn someone" Ahh, so you are being naive for convenience sake, that or reading comprehension escapes you.

reply

Since when has anyone been reluctant to publically condemn anyone else? It is nearly the American gold standard to do that.

reply

"It was a really tough week. It is hard being the most famous person in the Olympics."

Two days pass.

"Oh, it was the 'twisties' or something ... so don't criticize me you fat white men!"

You apologists are like the kind of people who say "Well you can't direct a movie" in the face of criticism of a director. Biles chumped out and then backpedaled. Sorry your hero has character issues.

But then again, maybe this is the new normal. People like her and people like you.

reply

1. Your passing judgment on people for disagreeing with your opinion.

2. That's not what a troll is. The word troll is misused anymore. People like you think it simply means someone you don't like or agree with. A troll is someone who says things they don't believe to piss others off and mess with them for the next few hours. The notion that someone can't really believe she quit is simply not true.

reply
