her career is over, she's now in a new fox show she is on tv so her career is over
funny how her career started at fox and is ending at fox.
sharefunny how her career started at fox and is ending at fox.
shareYet, Alba is more successful than you on multiple levels .
sharefuck you
shareThanks for the confirmation of my post.
shareI've been holding back but the way you act and the nonsensical things you say, I have to ask.
Trolling or stupid?
I’ve been on IMDb for 13 years and I’ve honestly never come across someone more stupid than him. This thread is actually brilliant compared to some threads he has made in the past.
shareTelevision is not a graveyard. It could expand her career or lead to whole new opportunities.
not true. tv is always where actors go when they can't make it to movies. look at jennifer love hewitt, she's back, see back to tv now because her career is over too. i could list so many examples of actors who used to be stars in movies who at the end of their career went to tv because movies wouldn't have them anymore.
the only difference is nowadays streaming services have tv shows that are big and successful but never quite as great as being in a theater movie. but jessica alba isn't on a streaming service tv show, she's on fox, a tv channel.
anyone who thinks jessica can make a comeback in any way is just a fanboy or girl.
shareShe made over $100 million running The Honest Company. She's pretty much doing what ever she wants now...
shareah yes good point. seems like her career is far from over then.
shareno, actually her career is over now because she is doing tv now. movies are what actors do after they've become accomplished from doing tv or get lucky and go straight to movies. but movies are always the most sought after, high profile, and impressive accomplishment in a power and success way.
shareSTFU...moron. 😂😂😂
shareWhat about Matthew McConaughey, Colin Farrell, Mahershala Ali, Woody Harrelson, Rachel McAdams. They've done TV. Are their careers over?
shareno, but i know the difference between actors doing tv for their acting craft like matthew woody colin and diversifying their acting career and talents and abilities and actresses doing tv because they can't get movie roles anymore bc of lack of acting talents and skills like j love hewitt who went to tv really early in her career after only 8 years of movies with the ghost whisperer.
sharetv is the new movie, since most people switched to binge watching series, and the streaming platforms give you a constant stream of them , it's also lucrative.
sharei know even tarantino wrote for an episode of csi. but for actors there is a difference between acting in a show on netflix, hulu, or amazon prime and acting on a show on freaking fox like jessica alba is now. fox has never been a respected channel well at least not since the '90s with the simpsons. and a streaming service channel is more respected than a just cable channel on tv.
shareYOUR OPINIONS ARE NOT ONLY NOT REALITY...THEYRE DOWNRIGHT STUPID.
shareDude you know absolutely nothing. Dramas and really good movies are barely shown at theaters anymore. Its 90% big budget boring crap. Even Scorsese knows this. Hence the Irishman went straight to netflix. There is also more product than EVER being produced out there in the film and TV world. Its very hard for an Actor to become A list or remain A list. Shorter span than ever now.
Learn about the way the film world is changing. instead of repeating stupid bullshit about Actors being washed up. Series or made for platform films is where the award worthy stuff is now going. Get use to it....
also haven't you noticed jessica hasn't been in any big movie for the last 5 years maybe 10 years. her career is over. she had a better than she deserved and was worth run. being a bad actress, she never went to acting classes or never learned from them, she was always just eye candy and you can only go so far with those two things, one working against you and the other working for you.
the fact she was famous and in starring roles in big movies for about 12 years was longer than most actresses of her qualifications get. for most it's 5 years and for a very small amount of actresses it's 10 years.

Well hey, at least she has a job. So that's something for her to be grateful for.
shareno, actually the fact she's on a tv show on a network like fox that is not respected and the show she is on looks painfully bad means she should be upset. it looks so bad in the worst way. no substance and fluff.
