Isn't "Tears in heaven"* about the loss of several grams of cocaine that Eric was forced to wash down the toilet when the police came investigating the death of his four year old son who died from falling out of a window due to negligence?
Or was it other drugs?
Too bad his condoms leaked another 4 times..
Anyway, this racist git is currently blaming the covid-19 vaccine for his woes.
*It's a nice song to get high to and muse about Karma, BTW.
That's true (my father was a musician and always said the same thing), but in today's digital world, someone who thinks Clapton isn't a great guitarist can post his/her own stuff on any social media platform or host it on youtube to prove the pedigree.
I find it silly that being a better guitarist would be a requisite of any objective analysis of another guitarist. That argument is just an ad hominem fallacy.
Professional sports analysts are fully capable of objectively rating players, coaches, teams, etc even though they are incapable of similar achievements.
I don't disagree with you, but we have a slightly different case here. The poster used his personal pedigree as a preface to his critique of Clapton:
As a guitarist for over 45 years, I say you're wrong. Eric is vastly overrated.
It is he who is saying that it's his 45 years of experience that allows him to declare the poster was wrong. If he wants to use his 45 years of playing as a basis for his opinion, then we should hear it. If he said he's been listening to great guitarists for 45 years, that would be a different subject.
Well there is a certain level of guitar knowledge that would be required to provide objective analysis of a guitar player. The user was using their personal pedigree to qualify their opinion, which is logical and necessary.
What is illogical about their reply though, is that they don't provide any evidence for their conclusion that Clapton is overrated, not a single objective criticism of his playing.
Clap wasn't there when Conor slipped thru the open window.
His adverse reaction to the vaccine should have been expected for a man who has decades under his belt as a smoker, heroin user, cocaine abuser and alcoholism. Even though he's cleaned up, the damage to his cardiovascular system has been set.
You've no doubt noticed that anyone remotely on the Left loves calling any perceived opponent "RACIST" these days. It's to the point where the term has zero credibility and is just eye-rolling.
