Emma Watson is retiring from acting.

Fans are going to miss her from her role as Hermione in "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002)" and Hermione in "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)", as well as Hermione in "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007)" and her notable portrayal of Hermione in "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009)".

I hope she's retiring from politics too!

Emma Watson is involved in politics? Is she talking about running for office or something?

If this is true, she will be off my favorite actress list. Politics is one of the biggest turn-offs for me.

reply

No, she just spouts loony liberal garbage whenever possible. Yes. Big turn off.

reply

Heil Derr Trumpenfuerher, you traitors.

reply

you would prefer loony wingnut trumpling garbage, mayhaps ?

reply

It seems these days all you get is either loony liberals or kooky conservatives... no middle ground. Whatever happened to moderates or centrists?

reply

Mostly feminism stuff.

reply

Yep.

reply

She has to be careful not to pull a J.K. Rowling.

reply

You mean telling the truth.or else she'll be "cancelled".

reply

Yeah, who believes in equality anyway?!! 🤦‍♂️

reply

I don't know what she said specifically. But it's not always a black and white case.

I swear that this is the greatest video of all time. Not just on YouTube, literally anywhere.

lol

I just put the roles she was known for.

reply

That was in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Hermione turns into a cat due to a botched potion mixture.

reply

I'll cope.

reply

Makes sense. She will forever collect from the Potter films and has no need to work ever again. She hasn't really been in anything exceptional since then. I thought she was good in The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Beauty in the Beast was meh (but made boatloads of cash), and the rest of her films have been OK to bad imo, although I haven't seen Little Women. I don't think she ever really enjoyed the popularity that comes with being an attractive star and I don't blame her. Probably attempts a comeback in 5 years or maybe moves on to theater.

reply

I question if many people will even notice that she's gone.

reply

Considering how popular HP is, I imagine she has a large following, but she's certainly not an A-lister or anything.

reply

I wish she had retired before Beauty and the Beast so they could have cast someone who was right for the part.

reply

Who did you want? A real beast?

reply

I don't think DeNiro would have taken the part.

reply

Well, good for her.

reply

My world shattered.

In these trying times we're all in this together

reply

That's what I called my solo album.

reply

We still have the memories.
