Johnny Got His Gun. Yes. That is definitely a soul-crushing, extremely depressing movie.

They Shoot Horses, Don't They?

"Seconds" outta do the trick. The "White Christmas" episode of "Black Mirror" too should fill you with utter hopelessness.

I'm confused by what said..... Seconds outta?
And I'm sorry, but I have never seen Black Mirror. I may check it out if I feel the need to be depressed. [smiley face]

Seconds....
Is that the name of a movie that Angular was talking about? Sorry. I didn't get it.

I suggested They Shoot Horses, Don't They?
Suddenly I get this notification and his reply about something to do with Seconds and White Christmas.
I am still a bit confused. Was Angular even replying to me???

reply

Yes Seconds is the movie he was talking about. It came out in 1966 and starred Rock Hudson.

The Black Mirror series is an excellent suggestion, every episode of that show has had some kind of physical visceral effect on me ... the ideas along with the writing is amazingly powerful.
