Oh, pops i'm glad you're here but why aren't you answering my posts?

I was answering the OP's question. Why would i answer your reply when it's just 'ditto'?

Had a beer before I was 18, I'm bad to the bone.

I had screwdrivers on my 16th birthday, I'm worse !

Ironically I had screwdrivers in Montreal, Canada when I was 17. Oh Canada.....

:-)

reply

That's nothing. When I was 18 I introduced beer to a girl BEFORE she turned 18! Ooh, I'm such a bad boy... 😎

reply

Shame on you! Go sit in the corner in your room, young man!

:-)

reply

I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you.

reply

I once shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die.

reply

not nice

reply

When I was just a baby my mama told me. Son,
Always be a good boy, don't ever play with guns.

Guess it didn't take.

Kickin' and a gougin' in the mud, and the blood, and the beer!

One of the greatest lyrics ever!

Thanks. I appreciate that. I've actually seen 30 of them so I guess I shouldn't complain. The biggest one was Canadian Texas in May 2015. The most was 14 dropped by one storm near Dodge City, Kansas in May 2016.

I did feel bad for the "newbies" who had never seen one.

Thanks. Unlike we storm chasers, you're apparently a typical normal person. I had about 20,
but I answered some of them from tornado alley.

But of course!

And I've never yet seen the slightest bit of empathy on your part for any of the people and entire communities negatively impacted by these devastating storms every year; just your "fun," braggadocio.

Big f****** deal ! I ride these storms out on my front porch every year, grateful to The Almighty for sparing me once again from major damage.

reply

I understand your anger db, and I'm glad you have been spared. I have family in Wichita KS, and I am always concerned when bad weather threatens.

As storm chasers we walk a fine line. We're not there to witness the aftermath, although sometimes we are the first on the scene and are able to help. We are there to witness an awesome force of nature, whether it's a thunderstorm, a super cell or a tornado. I have been fascinated by storms since I was a kid.

However one of our concerns is the effect on the people. We always pray that nobody is killed. Of the 30 tornadoes I have witnessed, there have been zero fatalities, which is a very good thing. And if there is death or destruction I guarantee you we had nothing to do with it.

I hope you never have to experience one first hand.

reply

What part of living in Tornado Alley have you not understood here? I've repeatedly said I ride these storms out every year. I don't need to chase them, they've chased me !

Out of 30 tornadoes witnessed, not one fatality ? If that isn't blatant hyperbole, I don't know what is. And I never suggested that you contributed to the destruction, only that you capitalize on the mystique of ' storm chasing ' because it's self aggrandizing.

reply

It's not hyperbole. It's true to the best of my knowledge. And it has nothing to do with self aggrandizing. I'm just fascinated by storms, and weather in general.

And all I can say to you is once again, I understand your anger, and hope you continue to be spared.

reply

You don't understand my anger at all ! It's about your lying, denying braggadocio. I'm sure napsdufroid understands. " It's true to the best of my knowledge . " Damn if that doesn't sound like muddying the waters to me .

reply

Okay. You're right, I have no idea what you're whining about. So just grow up and stop whining you little baby.

reply

More denial! A phony like you has no business trying to talk down and lecture but you insist on doing so in order to save face ! You're as transparent as a piece of glass .

reply

Grow up db.

😎

reply

Just don't respond to any more of my posts or butt into my conversations with others on here and you won't experience any further backlash from me.

If you can manage to do that, then maybe you'll have grown up somewhat.

reply

Since you just violated the MovieChat standards by name-calling, I have reported you to the Moderators.
You should be hearing from them shortly.

Have a nice day.

(just following your lead, ace...some might say that your constant reporting is the definition of being a little baby)
