One scene I found offensive

When Kong is in chains on the ship. I couldn't help but be reminded of the African slave trade when they were in chains on ships. I was shook up after this scene and it was hard for me to get back into it.

reply

Your professor has told/taught you well, Millsey

reply

Thanks, he is always looking out for us

reply

He died of covid yesterday, my professor told me who knew him im so sorry

reply

Until said professor has actually 'told' Millsey72 about his own passing, then I refuse to believe such news (and nor should you)

reply

Please don't call it Covid. The correct word for it is TrumpVirus

reply

Excellent. I will call it that forever.

reply

Do the biden cage kids suffer trumpvirus, or bidensocialism?

reply

I don't care *what* they call it.....just as long as they 'suffer'

reply

Hoooo wah! You dun did that thing with the that there boy howdy... now rub muh legs. 8o~~~~

reply

You went deep with that, but Kong does seem to get drugged and/or chained in every movie he's in. I feel sorry for the dude. Always being exploited for the purpose of man.

reply

Pssst - he is basically saying Black people were monkeys. Don't play along with his ignorance.

reply

I remember my professor told me the time when he caught a monkey that was about to be beat to death by its own father, we saved the monkey and named him bubbles , sold him to some weird guy in the 70s

reply

I remember my professor caught a monkey that spilled some chemicals in his lab. The professor let the monkey go in part because the monkey's brain was now visible as it was pulsing out of his skull, which I always thought was a bit cruel. I'm not sure if the monkey would have got on with the triplet girls the professor then adopted, at least I assume he adopted them, I never did figure out where they came from.

reply

I see you typed out a message on a board where messages are typed to respond to a message that was already typed and here I am typing a message to respond to your message.

reply

I bit of a stretch no? Daz like sayin choco milk is offensive bec its makin fun of blk ppl since most r lactose intolerant.

If kong started shakin his bootie 2 hip hop music then u might have a point.

reply

In english please , instead of this pretend slang you write.

reply

Has your professor ever told you that you are extremely sensitive?

reply

I'm not sensitive. Our past must be acknowledged and called out and never be repeated again

reply

But you were shook up - clearly this had a profound impact on you.

reply

It was very disturbing. And I am not even African American

reply

But you could be! Have you done your ancestry dna checked?

reply

No, but I am white. However all the white people in our class both acknowledged and apologized for our white privilege. And I feel a whole lot better after doing it

reply

That's excellent news. Have you considered donating your salary to African-American donation fund as a way of reparations?

reply

I'm neither whit e nor black and I don't feel shit. Then again that was resolved 150 years agp let it go already.

reply

Could you list these privileges that white people have that others don't?

reply

Well the big one is as a white person, I don't fear being hunted down and killed by a police officer. If you happen to be a black person, I apologize about everything about our past and current state of affairs

reply

I put that down as being a law abiding citizen which isn't a privilege, it's common sense.

reply

I made no connection and find it ridiculous if you really did.

I must be a true racist.

reply

Yes you are.

reply

I figured. Thank you. Very racist of me to see a chained up Ape and not think of Black Slaves.

I’ll be somewhere trying to be less White.

reply

Odd how so many Leftists see movie characters who are Apes or Orcs or whatever and automatically think "Black people!"

reply

It is very interesting.

Sees a chained up monkey, “ Ah, just like the good old days.”

Very interesting indeed.

reply

A chained ape on a ship reminds me of the Atlantic Slave trade when the blacks were on ships locked in chains

reply

I don’t compare Black people to apes, you do. Seems like something is wrong with your World view.

reply

Well, you are an idiot, so it's expected.

reply

So black people are .... what now? apes?

no wonder you are shook up, you're a racist dick.
