Which is why 'youtube' has gotten rid of displaying 'dislikes' on videos (you can leave them, but they don't show anymore)
It's likely to appease their 'paymasters' (Dems, Gillette, BLM, etc)
And now they have turned comments off on this trailer video........

You can still leave dislikes, but you don't see a count of how many there are. If you can still see the number of dislikes on YouTube, I can only assume it's a regional thing. So enjoy the count, whilst you can (as it's an actual implemented change of terms, as announced by YouTube)

They turned off comments but with Return YouTube Dislike extention on Chrome I can see the like to dislike ratio.

Wait a minute, so what did they change in the algorithms to show that? Wonder if there is an option in YT itself.

Ah, nvm. API related analytics fetch.
-The dislike button itself still remains intact (and, if you negatively react to a piece of content, it will affect your future recommendations), but you cannot see how many other people have used it.
-Google is planning to shut down this API on December 13, which poses a rather big problem for the extension.
Soon it'll be videos with no negativity. Only happy smiles, everyone loves whatever you post or put out, especially the government. Now what movies show this kind of dystopia where no one complains and everyone is happy?

shareWhat gets me is YouTube has hidden the dislike count for INDIVIDUAL COMMENTS for years now, I always wondered why. Doing it for WHOLE VIDEOS makes less sense.
