I felt like the premise was good, but then the story went to shit halfway through.
Yep, those are the three I always list as the good Snyder movies. What the heck happened to the guy?

I do wish they would return to the horror/comedy, but honestly you don't see a lot of that in films these days. I don't expect it to return anytime in the forseeable future.
I gave it a 6/10, but I was pondering 5. These last two Evil Dead films lean into the first film's style, but I'd rather see the horror/comedy of Evil Dead 2, Army of Darkness and Ash vs the Evil Dead. The first film, while definitely iconic, I would assume is not the first thing people think of when they think of the Evil Dead series.
