I like Keanu. I’m not a fan of Stallone. I will never understand how Rocky beat out Taxi Driver. Oh, and All the President’s Men. And Network. Never.
Network is a tv miniseries and Rocky is 1 of the best films of all time. I like both actors but Stallone is more talented than Keaunu as an actor, writer and director. You're just biased without watching many of his films. You're driven by the media narrative.
Ps. JW4 was bad, boring, and generic. It lost whatever charm the 1st film had and made the character completely unlikeable. Want to see a good pure action film? Watch Apocalypto and The Raid.
Dismissing Network as a “TV series” is really naive. Lumet as director and the glorious Paddy Chayefsky as the writer - they were exceptional. Any film history major will tell you that. I loved Apocalypto by Gibson.
Taxi Driver is in many of the top 10 best movie lists. Rocky was a flimsy win and it’s explained away as an underdog film. Taxi Driver, Pulp Fiction, Goodfellas, Raging Bull, Apocalypse Now, Citizen Kane, Mulholland Drive, The Searchers are just a few of the movies that were robbed of an Oscar.
Raging Bull is so much better than Rocky. I confess again I don’t much like Stallone. To me, he looks fit but isn’t athletic, and he is very short as I have met him. I hated Rambo too. He has his loyal fans.
The four movies of John Wick are just pure fun, and the last one in Paris is the perfect city for the end. There’s no need to drag this on for the next 30-40 years.
Dismissing? You do realize they won't be nominated because they're different mediums right? No matter how good a film is, it will not be placed in a tv series category no matter what woke ideology you subscribe to.

Network is a 1976 film. It was nominated for best picture along with Rocky. Highly acclaimed. Peter Finch (won Best Actor for this movie), Faye Dunaway (won best actress for this), William Holden. Beatrice Straight (won best supporting actress for this). Sidney Lumet is Director. Writer is the great Paddy Chayefsky (won best writer for this). And what is woke about Network. What a simpleton you are. How can you be so ill informed. Try and keep up.
Dances with Wolves is good but it can’t compare to Goodfellas. It isn’t even in the top 15 best westerns. The Searchers is no. 1. Where are you from? Sheesh-us. Not to be condescending like you, but I’m pretty sure it’s not mediums but the plural is media.

The truth is, like any other popular franchise, the studio is gonna squeeze it and milk it dry for all it's worth as long as its making huge amounts of money at the box office. Unlike a lot of franchises, the John Wick films have actually been getting better as they go along, although I admit John Wick 4 with be a tough act to try and top, because it was just that damn good and exciting as hell.

Did you even read the fucking article you posted? It says nothing certain about the fifth movie. Only that the producers want it but Reeves and Chad don't. And those spin off's was announced long before Chapter 4 came out.

I know it says that a part 5 isn't a certain thing right now, but the studio has put it on the table---meaning that if the director ever wants to make a fifth, they will back him up on that. Calm the hell down----that's nothing to even get angry about. Tired of you angry trolls on here always ready to snap on somebody over nothing. It's not even that serious. We're only talking about fun action movies, for goodness' sakes. So get over yourself, please.

I never wanted to know about this intricate and ridiculously improbable world of crime. I loved how they left so much to viewers' imagination in the first movie.
