He actually thought he stood a chance against the Nazis with that little pea shooter of his, that pathetic pig couldn't even wound a single Nazi, he got absolutely destroyed by Todd and Jack. A far more honorable death would have been to put the safety on his weapon, place it on the ground, put his hands in the air and beg to be let go. F-cking pig is a complete disgrace of a cop and I'm glad he's dead, that and the fact that he ruined the lives of children so that he could get become ASAC. He got what he deserved, he never should have messed with Walt. I am so glad he died knowing that Walt was a better man than he was and that he beat him.

Hank Shrader was a disgrace of a cop, couldn't even wound a single Nazi. I personally feel he should have been tortured before dying, you know bust out some jumper cables on his testicles, that would have been a lot of fun.

That is kind of an interesting scene. I don't think they show the actual shoot-out. It seems implausible that none of the Nazis would have been hit (by the two lawmen). I would also be curious to see what trained law enforcement should have been done here. E.g. as the trucks were approaching, should they have taken a better defensive position? It seems like if they had gotten up in the rocks, they could have held out quite well. Or heck -- if they even just got in the car and drove away, they probably could have gotten out of Dodge.

I LOL so hard when I saw Gomie's dead corpse and Hank not even able to stand. It's hilariously pathetic that Hank ever thought he stood a chance against superior firepower. Again should have placed his weapon on the ground, put his hands in the air and beg to be let go. He at least would have gone out with some dignity.

Beautifully stated. And now days, it's almost illegal to be interested in women, and who knows where sports is headed with the whole concussion/CTE thing. That could be why you're seeing so many more people like Hippo. In 50 years, they may be the only men left.

Hank went out like a coward. Now I didn't expect him to go John Rambo/Matrix on the Nazis but he couldn't even scratch them, they ripped through him like a blowtorch through butter, Hank sucked and I felt so much better once he was dead.

They were engaged at more than 50 feet distance. They had a hail of bullets raining down on them. Even cops have horrible accuracy under fire. Being shot at has a tendency to distract you from getting a clean shot. Most(91%+) police shootings under fire take place within 15 feet and the average accuracy is 15% for cops. Not surprising he didn't hit anything.

The Newhall incident is a good real-world example.
One issue illuminated by the Newhall incident was the fact that the four CHP officers fired fifteen rounds, three of which were 12-gauge buckshot cartridges, yet inflicted only one superficial wound upon their assailants. Typical of police confrontations(96%+), all rounds expended by the four deceased officers appear to have been within seven yards of their adversaries.
