What the hell is Derek Chauvin doing having his own Movie Chat page?

This is just wrong!

I know, I know, "so why am I posting here?". I can't answer that, your honor. Similar to Chauvin trying to explain his stupid actions.

It's probably because people have turned this trial into another one like the OJ SIMPSON trial, where his life also pretty much became an INSTANT REALITY SHOW (after he killed his former wife and the other guy who was bringing her the eyeglasses of her mother who left them at the restaurant where he worked).

And just like OJ's attorneys found a LOOP HOLE that found him NOT GUILTY of the murders of his wife and the other young man, watch the same kind of thing happen again when this other cop files an appeal claiming that his trial was RIGGED (due to the publicity and the other remarks made by MAXINE).

Because his attorney also tried to have the jury sequestered and was denied that request. So watch the murder counts that he's been convicted of get OVERTURNED on an appeal for that reason, which will also result in this killer also walking away the same way as OJ did.

But by the time that happens no one will probably be paying very much attention to this case anymore, because they'll most likely also be too busy being obsessed with some other newer case (like the one where the girl with the knife in her hand was shot and killed while she was about to try to kill another girl with it).

Anyhow, now that EVERYONE has a VIDEO CAMERA on their HANDHELD smart phones, that also means that anyone who has one is also a DIRECTOR now who can make a movie or create an instantaneous REALITY SHOW with it..

Ask the Democrats/MSM. They politicized this incident, incited violence, and basically crucified Derek Chauvin to the point that what is the difference between him and a Hollywood actor? Why shouldn't Derek have a page?

“ What the hell is Derek Chauvin doing having his own Movie Chat page?”

Same reason Lee Harvey Oswald, John Wilkes Booth, Charles Manson, Ted Bundy, Timothy McVeigh etc etc does.

reply

Then it’s a fair question, because it applies to so many examples of site abuse.

I could be wrong, because I don't watch much TV, but the difference between a normal Documentary featuring a person, vs. the Derek Chauvin stories, is the OTHERS often have speaking parts, or are interviewed. I have never heard Chauvin be interviewed. He's just the subject of these shows, and usually unauthorized and unknown by him. If he doesn't have a speaking-part, he should not be credited, per Hollywood rules.

I am anti-left, anti-MSM, conservative, anti-BLM, pro-police, but I'm also anti-Chauvin. I think he crossed the line. But at the same time, has he been given a chance to tell his side of the story? I have not heard it once. Again I don't follow this story too closely, but I don't think the media ever let his side of the story be told.

Here are some points I've heard on Fox News:

* That chokehold is taught as Standard Operating procedure.
* He was yelling "I can't breathe" even before being restrained, so it was largely ignored as him "crying wolf".
* They had called 911 based on his earlier 'I can't breathe' complaints and he was simply being restrained while paramedics arrived.
* His asthma and lethal dose of drugs contributed to his earlier "can't breathe" complaints.

Yeah I'm a little surprised they give people attending their trial a page discussion on moviechat. I'm not sure I agree with that but hey, it's their site. Derek Chauvin didn't give his version or testified at his trial because he decided to use his constitutional right to avoid so. I'm not sure it was a good strategy considering we and the jury will never know his side of the story and, well, he was declared guilty anyway.

I still don't see where Chauvin crossed the line. I watched a lot of videos these last years of so-called police murdering black people. I will be the first to condemn a murdering cop killing people in cold blood (black or anyone else) but it's usually not what I can see. The only video with a real murder was the one showing a policemen who shot a black dude in the back when he was running from after being arrested for a minor driving offense. Again, he seemed to resist arrest but obviously you don't shoot someone in the back for that. Moreover, the cop tried to hide proofs by moving stuff on the crime scene. The cop was convicted and I think it was deserved.

But almost all the other videos out there are not at all what people want them to be. They are mostly showing cops doing their job and having to use violence (force) to control lunatics not being cooperative. Things escalate quickly, mistakes are made and people die. It's risky to resist an arrest. You know where it starts, not where it will end. No ones likes violence and people dying but it's part of a cop's job.

When I see Floyd and Chauvin, all I can see is 4 policemen acting profesionally, using very little of force. They know it's daylight, there is plenty of people around them and that they are filmed, they won't kill a guy they don't know anything about. On the other side, Floyd resisted his arrest during the whole time. Passively, but still resisting. If you listen all the videos, you will notice he even says "I can't breathe" when he enters the car ...

He was already handcuffed. There was no reason as to why they could not get him into the car once he was handcuffed.

Even if it took 5 officers to get him into the back of the car it would have been a better idea than to kneel on his neck for 9 minutes.

There is NO reason for Chauvin to have done that.
