Will he be the most hated President in history?

The right and Trump supporters hate him and the left will turn on him shortly once he's in office for not being progressive enough.

reply

What, for the three months he'll be in office before Harris takes over? Unlikely.

reply

NO.

The media are the ones who decide who is hated and they LOVE Biden.

reply

no he won't. Trump is the most hated President in history.

reply

Yes, according to the DNC media.

reply

So true.

reply

Trump will go down as the most hated man in history, a distinction he earned. He was the worst president in the nearly 250 years we've existed as a nation. It would be impossible for President Biden to do a worse job even if he tried.

reply

Bullshit
Bush started a crapload of wars, a few illegal ones at that - could barely speak, like trump. Now he's the the darling of the dems - lol
The odds are, Trump will be trumped in the near future by either a dems or a reps president in mediocrity. Biden could easily be the guy - i know he's just reading stuff from the prompter, but i suspect that the establishment is not even trying at this point, and getting the crappiest writers for a few pennies.
As someone else has pointed out though, media plays a big role in how these fuckers get remembered. Corps control the media, if usa gets a socialist el presidento in the near future, u can bet your arse that trump's depiction will be like that of an angel in comparison to how the socialist candidate will be depicted in the media.
As long as the sheep keep watching mainstream news media, that's how this crap will flow.
We'll get a more neutral look at history after the revolution, after the corporate stoogies are massacred, and corporations are a distant memory.

"most hated man in history" -
Ever heard of Hitler or Stalin?

reply

While I refused to vote for the douchebag, and while he was incredibly ill equipped socially (his Tweeting and live speeches doomed him), he did NOT do a bad job in the rest of his roles as President. He actually did a pretty darn good job off screen and off Twitter.

That said, I am glad he’s gone and can only blame himself. Sure, the media broiled him mercilessly, hut again it’s Trump’s own fault. He was and is his own worst enemy.

Biden has no job approval rating in that poll of course. His positivity numbers are 44-40 while Trump's are 40-53.

reply

How does Biden have an approval rating before he’s president? I’m confused by that.

reply

He's a Democrat. He'll be getting a Nobel prize, soon.

reply

Yes, we should dive into that. Why do progressives get more accolades than conservatives? What do you think?

reply

The media.

reply

There is plenty of right wing media to though. Maybe it’s because Europe is so much more progressive than conservative.

reply

I think he's going to be inept on the same level as Jimmy Carter. I'm thankful that its pretty much a given he's only going to President for four years and that's even if he can finish that.

reply

Biden is not the flaming asshole Trump is. I'm sure Faux News will try to villainize him, but he's just not an easy guy to hate.

I'm one of those progressives myself, and wouldn't have chosen him out of that original lineup of 27 Democrats to be the nominee. But even if Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren were President and Dems held the Senate by a wider margin, they'd still have to compromise. You never get all your policy objectives through Congress. And in fact, in a functioning democracy you shouldn't. No one gets all of what they want - but with the right dealmaking, everyone gets enough.

Biden will be able to un-clusterfuck the vaccine effort and get another decent sized stimulus package through. He will take action on climate change; it may not be as ambitious as I'd prefer, but if sustained it should be sufficient. Hopefully. His plans to increase the power of workers and decrease the power of CEOs is also not as ambitious as I'd like, but it'll be a big improvement over the way things are now. This is how it goes. The perfect being the enemy of the good and all that. If Joe Biden gets to do a decent amount of what he's promised the country will be a better place. So unless he shows bad faith and turns his back on the things he talked about on the trail, I'll support him.

reply

"Biden is not the flaming asshole Trump is."

Similarly, Trump isn't the shamelessly corrupt Chinese and Russian graft recipient as per the lies Democrats foisted on the world for 4 years. This wall of lies, in fact, just represented Democrats like Biden looking in the mirror and projecting.

reply

Of course, people don't like

- Senile people
- Talentless people
- Creepy weirdos who act disturbingly around kids
- Cheaters
- Fraudsters (although I doubt he actually had anything to do with the 10+million fraudulent votes, in his feeble mental state he probably couldn't even organise a game of Monopoly)
- Liars

Or dictators which is what he will be because the "social" media censors are acting as his Stasi/secret police.

Americans overwhelmingly wanted Trump re-elected but due to a whole bunch of psychos, here we are watching America turn into East Germany.

reply

"Senile people"
You Trumptards go on about Biden being senile, yet all he has is a stammer and technically, Trump is senile too, but has a tiny vocabulary and acts like a child. I know I'd much rather have an ADULT in charge.

reply

Get a grip pal. Biden doesn't just "stammer." His incoherent rambles are the product of a dysfunctional brain that didn't have any smarts to begin with.

reply

And Trump never, EVER had smarts. He can't even run a business without it failing xD

reply

Yeah, all those skyscrapers he has, he got from the welfare office.. or.. something

As long as you go around saying "FURRRLLLED BURSSNURSSMAN" a lot that makes you smart, right?

reply

It's not a stammer. Watch some video of Biden from a few years ago. Not the same guy at all.

reply

A fool's an idiot who thinks he's otherwise.

reply

That was a snappy one, grandpa!
