Damn and he claims it was from his opiate use. I never knew opiates affected one’s colon . Opiates are a pretty non-toxic drug. Alcohol on the other hand

Maybe the colon issues were from the excess acetaminophen he took while consuming 50 Vicodin a day ….?

Opiate use can cause severe constipation and could damage your colon if not treated. Opiates are not a non-toxic drug as over 100,000 Americans die from opiate use and misuse every year.

There’s nothing strange about this. He either overdosed, had a heart attack, fell asleep and drowned or his body finally gave out due to decades of abuse, maybe all of the above.
Given his history any of the above are just as likely to have happened.

I do feel for Perry but what’s with all the shocked people on this board, have they been living under a rock for the past 30 years, the man did more drugs than Jerry Garcia.
