If you look back to the days when they first got married, she was very beautiful. The problem was, Will Smith fell in love with her looks, and the idea of a faithful wife who would help him start a family. He was so stupid and delusional, that even when Jada told him that she didn't want that in life, he refused to listen or believe it, and went through with the marriage anyway. He probably had that ridiculous notion that he could change her mind over time. Turns out, he was wrong, and not only has he hardly played any role in raising their kids (nannies do most of the work), Jada had been sleeping around and was open about it on tv!
It also appears Hollyweird corrupted both of them. Will got arrogant and too big for his britches due to all the fame and fortune he accumulated in the 90s and early 2000s, and Jada was enjoying hanging out with the Hollywood elites at parties and movie premieres while spending her husband's money after retiring from acting early (I honestly don't remember her acting in anything after the Matrix movies). Her behavior towards her kids doesn't sound like the kind a responsible, mature mom would have. She behaved more like a big sister who got to play with and hang out with the kids while the nannies did the hard work. Their kids are really messed up these days, too. It was Willow who talked Jada into shaving her head when she started suffering alopecia. In fact, Willow was having fun running around with a shaved head herself, and she told her mom to "own it." There are times when you really shouldn't take your kids' advice when it comes to fashion. She looked better with wigs, and there's no shame in wearing those; lots of women in Hollywood use them.

She was a regular in the TV show Gotham (she was dreadful).
She was very dreadful in Gotham, you are correct. It was due to her (about 80%) that I gave up on the show.
She was semi attractive in Menace to Society. The next time I saw her was in Collateral and she was butt ugly.

I loved Will Smith and eagerly watched his new action movies. Can’t look at him in a heroic role anymore. I perceive him as emasculated and lacking virtue.
shareI feel bad about it too. He was awesome in his heyday. So to hear about the slap, his crappy marriage, and what he's been doing these days acting-wise, it's made my opinion of him drop a lot. I'm particularly angry that he ruined "Independence Day 2" by not being in it (though to be fair, the story was pretty weak).

What did he see? She was and actually is still physically beautiful. Wrong reason to choose a mate but I think part of that is hardwired into our instincts.
What she also is is an ugly soul.
Will seems to have a thing for short and petite women, and Jada is like 5', so there's always that.

Also, the only reason Jada Pinkett Smith is saying Rock asked her out is nothing more than "Damage Control" to justify Will doing what he did which was basically career suicide
