Acclaimed actors you don't like?

What are some acclaimed actors you don't like

Ryan Goslin, I just don't understand the love for this man, he's okay at best

Margot Robbie, it' enough, she not that good.

Mila Kinus, just awful

Channing Tatum, has there ever been a a worse actor, the man is absolutely dreadful

reply

Except for The Godfather, Marlon Brando
Henry Fonda is a bit of a stiff IMO
Katharine Hepburn - Just can't stand her whole persona

reply

Henry Fonda is a bit of a stiff IMO

Too soon.

reply

I thought Brando was good in ‘On the Waterfront’.

reply

Jeremy Renner has the face and attitude of someone who keeps women trapped in his basement.
Michelle Williams is a disgrace to the art of acting.
Bobby Cannavale sounds like a drunk oaf.
Jon Bernthal has a punchable face that's very limited.

reply

Jon Bernthal is a good answer, he's not good in anything. We own this city was a really good show, but they should have cast somebody else, he almost ruined the show

reply

I don't understand his fanbase.

reply

He has a fanbase?

reply

Yeah. I think it's because of The Punisher.

reply

Jessica Chastain
Jim Belushi

reply

Mel Gibson,Denzel Washington,Mark Whalberg,Charles Bronson,Steve McQueen. Mostly because these guys aren't nice people in real life nor they look like good guys. Yet,they played heroes in 90% of their movies.

Sometimes it's distracting,honestly.

reply

Mark Whalberg in Pain and Gain (my favorite Marky Mark movie) was villainous as fuck

reply

That movie is hilarious; one of my favorite black comedies.

reply

what is crazy is it was all a true story, I read the whole Miami news story back when I was a teen and was shocked how crazy of a crime these guys actually did. If you like the movie its worth the read very interesting story

reply

Pain and gain is such a good film as well, not a fan of Dwayne Johnson, but liked him in this

reply

Steve McQueen. Mostly because these guys aren't nice people in real life nor they look like good guys.

STEVE MCQUEEN WAS A GOLDEN GOD!...BOW YOUR HEAD IN SHAME.

reply

Mostly because these guys aren't nice people in real life

How do you know? Have you ever met any of them?

reply

I always saw a lot of Mel Gibson's roles as anti hero types they have a darker edge to them.

reply

yeah Ryan Gosling is in some good movies but never really was the reason they were good if u know what I mean

reply

Yes, The big short is very good, but it's Christian Bale and Steve Carell that are good in it, Ryan Goslin g was awful in it

reply

DRIVE...END OF STORY.

reply

Terrible movie!

reply

😐

reply

sorry but I Disagree also 2049 topped the Original

reply

Ignoring the "acclaimed" part...

Dick Sargent

Jim J. Bullock

Bobcat Goldthwait

Bob Saget

Gilbert Gottfried

Edward Furlong

Dick Van Dyke

Anne Heche

Paul Reubens

Judith Light

Candice Bergen (though I recently discovered that she was a smoke show long before her annoying Murphy Brown days - https://i.imgur.com/5NA0gig.jpg - so that redeems her somewhat)

Rosie O'Donnell

Helen Hunt

George Takei

Byron Cherry

Christopher Mayer

Brian Bonsall

Bronson Pinchot

Joan Rivers

Kathleen Lloyd

reply

George Takei seems blithely innocent of the fact that without Star Trek he'd be an obscure footnote to a footnote. A study in mediocrity.

reply

💯

reply

Paul Reubens??? Who doesn’t like Paul Reubens? 😳

reply

I've always found his Pee Wee Herman character annoying, even when I was a kid in the '80s. Aside from seeing him in a Murphy Brown episode one time, Pee Wee Herman is the only role I've ever seen him play.

reply

THEN YOU HVE A LIMITED SCOPE...DUDE HAS BEEN IN TONS OF STUFF.

reply

He was very good in Blow (2001)

reply

Meryl Streep
Shirley MacLaine
Warren Beatty

reply

Oh wow !

reply

Warren Beatty ?!

noooooooo

reply

You need to look up the word acclaimed.

Tom Hanks is an acclaimed actor.

Those people are not, with the exception of Margot Robbie, whose performance in 'I, Tonya' was widely lauded.

reply

Maybe I used the word acclaimed wrong, but Ryan Gosling is very much an acclaimed actor
