shareI was a big fan of Dominick Dunne (his Vanity Fair articles, I think I only read one of his books).
It is so heartbreaking--her killer essentially got away with it, only serving a couple years in jail. I recommend Dominick Dunne: After The Party (2008) an absorbing documentary (with his participation) about his life and Hollywood (and of course his daughter).
I never knew she was his daughter. I always assumed it was just a coincidental similar-sounding name.
Shame on me, because I always liked her. I should have known this fact.
Moonlight Mile (2002) is inspired by her.

Regardless of which one is the more factual (and I am more than willing to believe Wikipedia over IMDb), it is still a shame that she was murdered.
I also find it interesting that Marcia Cross, who later rose to fame during the O.J. Simpson trial, handled the prosecution of Rebecca's killer.
I find her murder so tragic and sad. Seems like she was a little naive when it came to fans.
Yep, I saw Cross on a tv show that covered Rebecca's case. It told the same story as Wikipedia, by the way.
