Say you win the lottery, what movie memorabilia will you buy?

Maybe you want a famous house from a movie (home alone?)

Or a car. (the batmobile?)

Or a prop. (a sword from Lord of the Rings?)

What will you buy?

ANNA KENDRICK

Well, she would hopefully save a few pennies on shipping!

Women are not your possession, Kowalski.

reply

OF COURSE NOT...EXCEPT ANNA KENDRICK.πŸ™‚

Back To Future DeLorean
Dr Who Tardis and Dalek
Time Machine (1960 version)

reply

I met the guy who built the Delorean. He wasn't very nice.

reply

I will eventually get round to buying these.

reply

There's a company in the UK that will build you a full size Tardis or Dalek. I need to update the security on my house first (CCTV etc) before I buy them.

reply

I wouldn't mind having myself the Mr. Bean car.

Cheaper than I thought.

reply

I want the actual one they filmed the episodes with. It's got the black hood.

reply

Get it sprayed, lol.

I would love to have the miniature Time Machine from that movie.

reply

It was beautiful to look at.

reply

Not sure if you know this.......

"The miniature version of the Time Machine was kept by producer-director George Pal. It was lost when Pal's home was destroyed by fire. ... Using blueprints his friend George Pal had given him years earlier, he and a crew of friends restored it."

Paper model available.

I want a yellow barrel from Jaws and the Trioxin barrel from Return of the Living Dead.

reply

I wouldn’t mind having Chief’s Chevy Blazer.

reply

I always loved how, in Problem Child 2, Junior's mailbox was a miniature replica of his home. So maybe both the home and the mailbox, if those exist.

reply

Great set design in that movie. Very colorful.

reply

I'm not a huge fan of the set, maybe because it relies so heavily on a very basic, child-centric blue-red-yellow colour scheme, which suits the film and the era. But I've always liked that particular house and its mailbox - it has a very creepy cute vibe I'm into.

I'd also probably buy the finger trap from The Addams Family, just to add.

reply

Although I don’t possess a certificate of authenticity, I do have this. πŸ˜€

reply

Haha. That's awesome.

reply

It’s signed by the director too.

reply

This makes me want more disposable income. All mine goes on weed, ciggies and booze...sometimes food.

reply

If you have to give up one make it the ciggs. The weed is a major movie experience enhancer. πŸ˜€

reply

Yeah one day I hope. Costing me $120 a week for ciggies because of the tax in Australia.

reply

Holy crap! In Los Angeles I can buy 2 packs Marlboro's for $17.50.

reply

I buy rollies which are cheaper. Still though, two 25 gram pouches costs me 120 bucks. It would cost me a lot more if I was buying tailor mades.

reply

A few years ago someone was making and selling these: https://www.ebay.com/itm/190972839331

reply

I guess the people used to produce that were white. πŸ˜†
