I will never understand this. I like to be able to see, when is it ever that sunny that you would want to diminish your vision and have something sitting on your face? The only reason I still wear them occasionally is for style and when I’m fishing the polarization can be helpful. But people wear them like they do watches, like they’re essential.

Sometimes it is sunny enough that I want to take that glare off and then, yes, I put on sunglasses. They protect my eyes from getting punched by light. They don't lower my vision that much - in fact, when it's that bright out, they make me able to see better. I don't really mind having something on my face, either.

If you have a round face your sunglasses can make it look less round or if you have a long Face the right shape of sunglasses can make it look not that long.
Sunglasses make our features more proportionate. You just have to find the right ones.
