I supported a full recount in Florida, as the state was decided by a few hundred votes out of millions. I didn't support the supreme court just scrapping all that, but since there was no evidence of anyone stealing an election, none of that applies to this topic.

A full recount would have made complete sense. It would ahve been fair. i would have supported that too.

That is not what Gore demanded. That was not the question.

Gore's selective manual recounts request was legal and completely allowed by Florida law at the time. It all went to the courts, he lost, and conceded.

There.should have been runoffsin both 2000 and 2016. The US President should be elected like the French one - direcf popular vote and runoff between the top two if nobody gets over 50%. I believe that.Bush would have beaten Gore in 2000 - not sure about 2016.
