If You Don't Want To See Captain Marvel You Are A Troll Or A Sexist !!
Its scary how much Disney controls the media
shareIts scary how much Disney controls the media
shareDo they really tho?
shareYes?
It's also just typical far-leftist attitudes, a combination of the two.
Pfft. Okay...sure.
shareWant a recent example? Captain Marvel was getting slammed in the "want to see" section, and as a result, Rotten Tomatoes has removed the entire fricken section from their site.
shareBecause of internet trolls too scared of girls to actually let the movie happen so they jump up on their incel crusade and try to sabotage something.
I mean, you can be mad at Rotten tomatoes (which is partly owned by Warner Brothers, no ownership by Disney) and you can come up with a conspiracy theory that Disney is pulling all the strings but at the end of the day, it's internet neckbeards that ruined it for all of us.
Again.
Like they always do.
its hilarious how beta liberals blame anything and everything on "trolls".
shareAh yes, "trolls" - or rather, people who don't have the same opinions you do. You are truly pathetic.
shareNo, there are plenty who have different opinions. But the ones who whine and cry "SJW!" and go on message boards to slam a movie (or praise it) without having seen it? Because of the gender or color of the lead? That's just pathetic.
shareAre you for real? Is this real life? This post is so hilarious ironic it's insane. They aren't slamming the movie based on the gender or race of the lead... they're pushing back because of Brie Larson's sexist and racist comments about white men and men in general. Again, unbelievably ironic and totally misinformed on your part.
Why do you think Wonder Woman is loved, why do you think Alita is loved? Because they are simply good movies with good characters, and they aren't trying to hit people over the head with social commentary and identity politics... and the lead stars aren't going out and talking about there being "too many white men" or "white men aren't going to understand a particular movie I made, it wasn't made for them." She just will not shut up about this type of shit.
SHE is the one making everything about race and gender, and shitting on a specific race and gender. Did you just hop on the internet yesterday without having a clue about any of this?
AND if you did some research, you'd see that Larsons comments were taking out of context and spun to be made to look negative.
shareGod, I'm literally cracking up right now. *Too many white men* "I don't want to hear what a white man has to say about this movie" *White men won't understand this movie* - yes, not negative at all. Not racist or sexist at all. You are unbelievable.
shareAnd your fear over the fact that the world is catching on to the fact that we white males ae not the majority and not the voice of authority is palpable.
Don’t worry, youR inflatable woman still respects you.
It's not about Disney controlling the media. It's more about how the politically correct agenda has become the 'way to go' in modern world.
Disney is just being obedient and following the official agenda.
How is it politically correct to say "Hey, you know what? If you don't want to see a movie that's fine but hows about you stop pissing on everyone elses Cheerios?".
If people had gone and done this prior to Aquaman, a lot of those same incels would be up in arms that there was unfair sabotage going on.
Why are you afraid of free speech?
shareFree speech i love.
Uninformed speech leads to Donald Trump as President. And he's a game show host!
So if it's against the narrative then it's "uninformed speech" - which although is perfectly captured under "free speech" ... is not actually "free speech" in your mind since your presidential candidate was beaten in the election?
So you only want the echo chamber and wan't anyone who exercises their RIGHT TO VOTE FOR WHO THEY WANT suppressed due to you not getting your way.
You are what is wrong with humanity, worst thing is you can't see it.
Who was “my candidate”, Perry Presumptive?
shareI want to see it, as I've seen all the MCU films at the cinema since 2012, but I almost feel that as a man I'd be unwelcome.
When Brie Larson says stuff like "who cares what a fortysomething man thinks of x" it makes me feel that my custom isn't welcome.
The thing is, this film will make billions anyway, but I do wish film stars focused more on uniting people than dividing them. Division isn't a virtue.
Yes.I wasn't super excited to see this but i wanted too because it's an MCU movie. But Brie Larson and her comments like the one above make me feel unwelcome. She's not just promoting female empowerment in her comments. She's singling out middle aged white dudes and basically saying go f**k yourself because no one cares what your opinion is.I don't think she realizes that a large portion of nerds out there who see these movies are middle aged white dudes.
shareI don't know why some people get this idea in their head that singling out entire identity groups for condemnation is somehow 'woke' and virtuous.
I'd much rather individuals focused on their own privileges (Brie Larson is a white woman, and so she's in a perfect position to talk about her own white privilege), rather than lambasting others, particularly for something they have no control over (i.e. their gender, their race, and the aging process).
Also, whilst it's nice to see movie stars and film studios pay for young girls to see Captain Marvel and for young POC to see Black Panther, what is being said here? That all young white boys are rich and that none of them might benefit from that type of assistance? There are as many rich girls as rich boys. Gender doesn't affect the type of socioeconomic circumstances one is born into.
LOL
"Disney controls the media."
They wish. It would help them get butts in seats for their endless line of underperformers and expensive flops.
It looks like two more expensive flops are on the immediate horizon...Dumbo and Aladdin.
"If You Don't Want To See Captain Marvel You Are A Troll"
I have to admit this is a very interesting line. If a troll said they didn't want to see CM wouldn't that mean they secretly wanted to see it? As troll comments are meant to be the opposite of how they actually feel. Otherwise they aren't trolling.
Oh but wait. A troll could have pro-CM posts. Meaning they are pretending to be in favor of it but secretly hate it. That would certainly explain some of your posts such as CM will make a billion. But that would mean your posts are not genuine and you don't want to see it.
Wait. is this whole thing a confession darkpast? Come on guy. Just let it out.
i'm playing both sides. Just making fun of the lamestream media.
But this is a MCU film, its making 800m at least, but over 1 billion i give 80% chance.
no so-called boycotts will make any difference
