Pretty much along party lines. Fauci did his best to deliver reality around fantasyland living Trump, so he came off looking like an anti-Trumper. Ergo, most "repbulicans" (Trumpers) think he should resign. Useless data.

Watching him trying to change the definition of "gain of function" and just defending those words as opposed to facts/actions is enough to show his character.
Saying "don't wear masks" when is clear that masks work was another instance in which he lied, even if his lie was "justified" lol by the low inventories of masks all over the country still it is a lie. That just proves that he can easily lie given the proper justification.

Studies done before 2020, when mask-wearing became politicized, show that masks do not work to prevent the transmission of viruses. You'll even find a disclaimer on your package of masks stating that they don't work. When he later contradicted himself and started preaching the face-diaper gospel, he showed that he was a science-denying liar.
