Yup, now reduced to mediocre horror films on Netflix.

I thought she was great in ME though.

reply

Mediocre horror films on Netflix is my guilty pleasure =)

reply

“Mediocre horror film on Netflix” is a redundancy.

She seemed to be doing well when "Chuck" (2007 - 2012) was airing at the time. I thought for sure her stardom would've skyrocketed after being discovered on that show.

The last I saw of her was a guest appearance on "Louie" (2010 – 2015) in 2014. After that, I wasn't particularly interested in anything else she was involved in.

I have a feeling the last few seasons of "Dexter" (2006 – 2013) probably hurt her career more than it helped.

reply

Did she have a career? I've only seen in her Dexter.

reply

You're a better man than me. I've never heard of her, period.

reply

She was hot in Dexter.

The only Dexter I've ever seen is Dexter's Laboratory. I'll have to see if it's On Demand sometime. I just recently finally saw my first episode of Game of Thrones. That's nothing, I didn't start watching Breaking Bad until after it ended and wound up on Netflix. I've only seen the first one and a half seasons of TWD, plus the episodes leading up to Rick's departure and every episode since. I pulled a similar jump when The X Files was revived.

Strangely enough, I rarely recognize recent TV actors, even if I've somehow seen one of their shows. I've seen only a few episodes of The Alienist and I still didn't recognize the third actor on that show in a recent (not to mention slow and boring) movie called 7 Years in Entebbe. Then again, I don't remember who Andrew Keegan played in Independence Day.

I think if they had given her a 24 series on and off with Kiefer Sutherland, things may have worked out better for her.

reply

Yeah, there was talk of spinning her off into her own 24 series. That was definitely her best shot at being a big name. They still talk about getting a Chuck movie made every now and then but that ain't ever happening.

She's one of the main characters on The Handmaid's Tale and really good on that show. Not sure how her career has dried up as she is still working on projects the same level or higher that she was doing previously.

reply

True that is a pretty popular show.

reply

Would've been a good Captain Marvel, IMO.

But what did you expect from her Career?. If you were expecting her to become a A-List Hollywood actress then yeah she probably failed. But in term's of been a reliable TV Actress she's done pretty well. She was doing Chuck and Dexter back to back was probably the height of her fame, and has a role in the popular The Handmaids Tale. She was in 24: Live Another Day. She has a pretty damn good TV career. Her Movie career is rubbish, and she's been in some horrible films.

For her looks and talent, she is probably someone who should have been a bigger star then she is. But she's done four great TV shows in Dexter (up to a certain point), Chuck, 24 and A Handmaids Tale. I wouldn't call that a bad career.
