Did he just join the Empire?

Surprised he voted to impeach. Guess he is still mad from losing being president.

reply

I never liked him, sure I'd take him over Obummer but that's not saying much.

reply

You mean he joined the dark side?

reply

Yeah, dark side, or Empire. Which ever you prefer.

reply

He's filling the trecherous shoes of the late John McCain.

He knows the media loves Republicans that attack and undermine other Republicans.

reply

You got that right, QueenFanUSA!

I'm listening to Queen right now, btw!! 👑 😇🎶

reply

Sounds good, my brutha!

reply

Call me sister instead 👍🏻

reply

Oh, sorry...the "Norman" threw me off lol.

reply

But not the "Norma?" 😜
It's fine.

Off subject, did you get a chance to go to the Rhapsody concert?

reply

Oh...lol...i see the lack of an "n" now!

Yes I saw them in Nashville last August! Great show as always!

reply

I saw them in August too, in Chicago. They were awesome!

reply

Mitt is a complete Schiffhead.

reply

Schiff for brains

reply

After his Schiffy performance in the 2012 election, Mitt is still bitter.

reply

He absolutely is.

reply

He's a person of principle and not a party hack and slasher. We need more pubs like him, someone who has a conscience.

reply

A man of principle doesn't change his view more often than a woman changes her shoes. Look at what he supported when he was governor of Massachusetts and then compare that to the platform he ran on when getting elected in Utah. He has no principles.

reply

Conscience?

This douche-bag built his fortune at Bain tearing apart companies and selling them off piece by piece, leaving only the unemployed and displaced in his wake.

Were there a god, or a god worth a shit, he'd of been fighting anal cancer and getting hacked to pieces on the surgeon's table over the past 3 decades.

Romney is the real deal as far as social/fiscal conservatism goes. He's a capitalist to the core, and he's deeply religious. He's what the GOP is supposed to be principled upon.

The overall problem is there are no real conservatives in the GOP any more, at least not the majority it once had. The majority of the GOP are those who buy into Trump's pretend bank account, Trump's pretend Christianity, while using his third-grade vocabulary to cut his opponents down. Nowadays the GOP is all about how a leader exudes verbal strength. It's going to bite them on the ass when Trump is out of office. Because, for all of Romney's faults, he's correct here. Trump was caught doing something wrong, and senate repubs voted to avoid hearing more evidence because they want Trump to remain as strong as possible. Trump told another lie? Lies don't matter as long as he looks strong by telling them. Of course Romney isn't going to play that game. He's a real conservative with real principles.

reply

The discussion wasn't about Trump, it was about Romney.

But since you brought it up, Trump's a shitbag crypto with a high rent hooker for a wife, idiot kids, and a taste for interior decor that would embarrass a street pimp.

Romeny's a shitbag vulture capitalist who bought his office with blood money and is pawning himself off to his moron constituents as a man of family & faith.

They're both fucking garbage who are both OWNED by the same people, so really, there's not a lick of difference between the two.

Don't get mad at me, I quit voting 25 years ago, I don't give a fuck, they're ALL owned.

It's up to good citizens like you to make a brighter tomorrow . . .for the stupid fucking children, of course.

reply

no, he is a smart dude that's how democracy works if both Parties compromised with Each Other we wouldn't have worry about Power Struggles He Saw Middle ground I can respect that and that's what founding fathers Wanted

reply

It's him going down in history as someone who opposed Trump. If Trump turns out to be the evil man the left say he is, he will be vindicated. For now, he just seems like someone with sour grapes.

reply

He's going to go down in History as a very Brave Man.

reply

Mittens will be about as close as one can get to being a "Lame Duck" Senator.

But, alas, his term is not up until 2024. Currently there are some "Recall" efforts in Utah, but, those seldom go anywhere.

The GOP certainly doesn't need to do him any special favors, but...we do not want to alienate him, either, as his votes may be important for Judicial Nominations.

Other than that, I would be happy to see his finely coiffed hair go elsewhere.

He has been a MASSIVE disappointment for me.

reply

I'm glad to hear Mitt will be in until 2024. In the event that Trump wins another term, we'll need any available power to keep him in check.
