From what I can tell, people have obediently broken into two camps based on political affiliation, so yes, I'm definitely in the minority.
BTW, last I saw Twitter, we're now at the point where people are lawyering up, getting ready to sue. Soon there will be the book deals, the tours, the talk shows. We'll likely have a MAGA David Hogg come from this. And those who fan the flames wildly will lament, "Oh, if only this story would just go away!"
The one thing that ought to come of this -- that anyone who calls for anyone to be doxxed, or anyone who does dox anyone, be given a stiff prison sentence -- almost certainly won't happen. If that's not screaming "Fire!" in a crowded theater, I don't know what is. It shouldn't be protected speech, and it certainly shouldn't just have the person banned from Twitter, Facebook, or any other social media platform, including this one. But again, that's common sense, and so it stands no chance of happening.
Few notice there are no heroes in this. They're too busy playing out the "Opinion Rhapsody" -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IABRgZH12YA
Meanwhile we have the media egging us on to drive the wedge deeper into that rift we have in society. The rest of the hysterical political theater we've seen so many times we ought to be hip to it. But we continue to be manipulated.
Agree with most everything you said here but I'm hopeful that common sense will eventually prevail.
