Why haven't we seen any proof of Russia's meddling yet?

Has Trump? I would assume so given how it's just assumed that his intelligence community is telling the truth. Can someone tell me when we'll see it?

reply

99% of intelligence agencies agree that there is global meddling.

reply

- No evidence...check
- Citing “consensus” as evidence of proof...check
- Constantly changing the charge to fit our needs, from collusion, to rigging, to meddling...check
- Acting shocked that countries try to influence each other which is as common as the changing weather...check.

We need a more vague title. Something that sounds important but is totally unmeasurable.

Let’s call it: Man made global political disruption.

reply

Patience is your friend.

reply

Why does that sound so dishonest, that we are always being asked to trust people or worse professional liars like CIA? Lying is their job. I don't understand why liberals do this. Even on an issue like global warming where there is evidence they could make, they don't do that. They ask us to trust people instead. No! That's how I know you're lying.

reply

Damn, you have major “ trust issues” in your life. Spend less time on this forum and more time with a good therapist to get answers you’re looking for. Good luck!

reply

It usually happens on a presidents 2nd term. If the coincidence meter is right, Trump will win the 2020 election then get impeached/near imepeached as the 2 before him.

reply

Only Andrew Johnson and Clinton were impeached but were never forced out of office. Nixon resigned before he was impeached. What will Trump be impeached for?

reply

Ah, totally forgot about Andrew Johnson. Yes. only Nixon resigned while the others stayed even after impeachment. I never said he was going to leave or get fired or whatnot.

'During the trial, some citizens of Boston and Roxbury, Massachusetts to submit a petition to Congress calling for the complete abolition of the Presidency. In it, the petitioners argued that only two forms of government exist: absolute monarchy and absolute democracy. They claimed that President Johnson had abused the powers of the Presidency, to which impeachment was the only corrective; the failure of impeachment in Johnson's case proved to the petitioners that the Presidency had grown too powerful and the only remaining solution was the abolition of the office.'

Interesting... and it's being displayed again the abuse of power of the presidency.

As for what will Trump be impeached for, your guess is as good as mine. That's what the investigation is for and the answers we'll get once it's been concluded if the coincidental clock is right.

reply

Difference is this guy has been under investigation since his fourth month in office while other Presidents were in office a few years. A year and a half into his presidency and there is already 30 indictments and five guilty pleas? Never ever before has that happened so early on.

reply

Mueller said that the Russia meddling had no bearing on the outcome of the election. Although I did hear that Russia does this to create chaos. It creates doubt in the losers mind and makes them think that the election was rigged. Which its working fantastically.

reply

If that's the case then it kind of sounds like how Trump avoided releasing his tax returns just to stir the pot until Rachel Maddow had them leaked to her and then told the world how he pays them just like everyone else.

reply

I am not aware of any law that says the President has to release his or her tax returns. It would be interesting to find out who and when that started. The Dems are still mad that Trump won and are doing everything they can to illegitimatize his Presidency. As I have said a thousand times before, politics is stupid.

reply

The tax return thing is a transparency tradition, it's not required.

reply

More like transparency and trust that the person you voted in office isn't some corrupt mogul behind the scenes doing dirty deals. Pretty sure we know what kind of businessman Trump is...

http://www.taxhistory.org/www/website.nsf/web/presidentialtaxreturns

It shows that going back to 1976, all but one major-party nominee released at least one return.

Only Republican Gerald Ford, who lost to Democrat Jimmy Carter in 1976, did not release returns (he released summary tax data), the archive shows. FactCheck.org also found Ford to be the one exception.

reply

Mueller never said that. In their indictments, they never said that it influenced the election, but they didn't say the Russians had no influence either. They didn't take a side either way.

reply

exactly

reply

Why haven't we seen any proof you have a brain in your skull yet?

reply

LOL!

reply

Because you need to change your television channel to a real news source instead of state sponsored propaganda Fox.

reply

We are as guilty at meddling in foreign elections as anyone else. Google it and you will see almost EVERY news source from both sides of the political spectrum have reported this. It's a matter of convenience for some people to look at Russia's involvement, however great or minor it might have been, as a great conspiracy isolated to this one election. Thats because in this election, they can't accept that the American voting system determined someone else the winner, rather than the person they voted for. It's a common practice for governments, because another nations elections have global impacts. The whole system is broken, not just the part with Russia in 2016.

reply

Of course we meddle in foreign affairs, so what? But our country has 2 political parties and one of them has been compromised and the pres has been colluding with our enemy and verbally attacking our allies while millions of brainwashed rednecks, that pretend to be patriots, cheer him on.

reply

Lol, you think only one of the parties has been compromised?! Please tell me you aren't that niave.

reply

If I were naive I would watch faux news and have voted for trump.

reply

Ohhhh, good zinger! Are you a professional comedy writer with gold like that! Your comment kind of ignores my question, which leads me to think you are aware that indeed both sides of the political spectrum are corrupt, but that type of honesty requires setting aside the election butthurt for just a moment. I don't expect that type of clarity from snowflakes,so proceed in typical crybaby fashion.

reply

I must have hit close to home with my "zinger."

reply

Again, blind denial of corruption for your party is obvious, and unhealthy. I'm not a Trump supporter, I'm just anti liberalism, so there's nothing that bothers me about your thoughts other than you represent the typical blind left who thinks they have all of the answers without actually providing any. This country won't get any better until we see the system for what it is and demand change, but again, that would actually require something constructive from the left, and they've proven that isn't likely. Have fun playing ostrich with your head in the sand.

reply

It would get a lot better if the right would stop getting their opinion from Russian sponsored memes, fake news blogs and faux news. If the pretend patriots on the right would wake up, stop bashing America, and vote for politicians who want a better country (aka liberal) things will get better.

reply

So basically, you know nothing. Check. I'm through with you. I'm not so blind to not see that your trying to antagonize me, and it's failing, but it bores me. Its evident by your shift in tone and choice of words. Go back to troll school.Have fun with that, but I'm done with you.

reply

You never even got started. Without a meme or something telling you how to respond, trumpies can only spew vague insults. BTW, none of it was trolling on my part, nothing shuts down a righty quicker than the truth.

reply

Yawn... You bore me and I get tired of making you look silly with your lopsided logic that any middle schooler can see through. Expect this as my stock reply for every time you reply to me. I can't stand feigned ignorance, and it's even worse when it's real.

reply

You said you were done, have you been putin me on this whole time? Lol.

I'm pulling your string.

reply

Ziiiiiip. That's me, pulling your string again.

reply

Hilarious how Burk is such a snowflake. He can dish but he can't take ... a classic snowflake of trumpian proportions.

reply

He calls me a snowflake then says I'm just trying to antagonize him.

reply

Yup, vintage Burk hypocrisy. The best is that he actually thinks he's being clever while showcasing how unintelligent he is. He's like the board's court jester. Everyone makes fun of him.

reply

Aw Burk. That chip on your shoulder from a lifetime of rejection by liberal intelligentsia is really weighing you down. Maybe instead of striving so hard for some sense of comeuppance you'll never achieve you should just go get a job and make something of yourself.

reply

reply

Now he's being a doll and responding with the same spiel everytime we pull his string.

reply

Yeah I'm used to it. He doesn't have much upstairs so cutting and pasting lets him pretend like he's responding to smack talked about him when all he's really doing is confirming he read it. It's kind of funny.

reply

Trump is proof of meddling. Also the evidence has been shown to Trump and shared among agencies.
