Paris Hilton cried over Playboy cover after sex tape scandal: ‘Branded as a slut’

https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/paris-hilton-confessed-cried-playboy-cover-sex-tape-scandal

But honey...

You ARE a slut!

reply

I think we should get rid of the word slut. It's stupid and judgemental. Some people like sex. Get over it.

reply

Agreed.

The only thing I would ask is that people don't broadcast their sex lives to others (although there's not much one can do if *other people* broadcast one's sex life). I don't judge other people's business, assuming it's all consensual, but sometimes the rest of us don't want to know.

reply

I would agree on that notion, I've noticed that more often than not, people that use that word are misogynistic. It's just a way of degrading the gender they don't like to begin with.

Although, making your sex life public can cause people to have knee-jerk reactions rather than thinking logically. I don't recommend doing a sex tape but I also know that modern technology has opened the door for such scandals and whatnot.

Put a camera in front of someone and there's no telling what they might do. haha...

Either way, Hilton's sex tape was kind of sexy though. I sorta liked it.

well said

reply

Sex is normal! Just because a man ejaculates in her mouth don’t mean she is a slut!

reply

Yeah, it does, but sluts know that that is great, which is why they’re sluts. Whores make THE BEST wives and girlfriends because (1) they know what they are doing( which few “men” do not and (2) the slut has sampled enough men to know what she REALLY wants and does not want.

reply

Isn't that sex tape what made her a celebrity in the first place?

reply

Nah, she was already "famous for being famous" as an heiress to the Hilton brand and a model.

It is suspicious that the sex tape leaked just prior to the premier of her reality TV show. I have to believe that it boosted the ratings, but she was already a solid celeb by that time.

reply

She may have been in the celebrity tabloids but she wasn't a household name with TV shows and movie roles, right?

reply

Wasn't the reality show created because of the interest in her brought on by the sex tape?

reply

I don't think so. The leak was close enough to the premier to seem more like a publicity stunt. Certainly not enough time for the leak to generate production of the show.

reply

You are thinking of Kim Kardashian.

reply

Why does everyone hate dark, swarthy, nouveau riche Armenian Kim Kardashian, whilst acting as if blonde, blue-eyed, old-money WASP Paris Hilton has contributed anything to the world?

Is this white rich woman privilege/exemption rearing its ugly (although physically pretty) head again?

reply

nobody is acting as if
"blonde, blue-eyed, old-money WASP Paris Hilton has contributed anything to the world"
surely?

reply

The implication is that Kim Kardashian is the one who's only famous because of a sex tape, as if Paris Hilton has contributed something more worthy.

reply

Paris Hilton is a sweet girl. She did stuff everybody does when the clothes come off, with the only difference is that it was filmed. If Paris is a slut, we are all sluts!

reply

I don't know if she's sweet, but I don't think the sex tape meant she was a slut. It meant her boyfriend was decrepit pertain for selling it.

reply

Yeah, how exactly am I a slut? Not that it's a word I'd ever use, but at the risk of being attacked here by self-righteous crusaders who simp for super-spoiled, super-rich, super-parasitic, overprivileged white women, I can advise you that my lifestyle is very different from Paris'.

Now, I would *never* call anyone a 'slut'. It's an abhorrent word, but I don't support the 'logic' of your argument. The behaviour Paris is being 'slut-shamed' for (wrongly IMHO), is still not the same behaviour as the rest of us.

And before anyone 'shames' me for being virginal/celibate, just remember, I'm NOT a spoiled rich hotel heiress like Paris. You defend *her*, and attack *me*, you might as well have a sign around you saying "I'm a right-wing conservative [masquerading as a 'progressive feminist'] whilst vigorously defending and simping for RICH WHITE PRIVILEGE". 😠👊🏼

reply

Definitely the strangest rant I've read in awhile.

reply

Yeah, *I'm* the strange one...Not the person that called us all 'sluts'... 🤦‍♂️

reply

That included myself in the mix as well. I really don't know what you're so upset about.

reply

If you read his post history you’ll see he’s just a troll. There’s no reason to respond to him further.

reply

That reminds me of all the men who say "We're all scum" or "We're all rapists/sex offenders." Well, the rest of you may be, but I sure as shit ain't. So, with all due respect (and I'm not personally attacking *you* here, because, to be fair, you come across as reasonable and polite), don't include me when you say "We're all X or Y."

reply

all the men who say "We're all scum"

whut?
nothing you say makes sense

reply

She is a slut.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

reply

Agree Walter.

reply

"Not that there's anything wrong with that."

i agree
maybe we should give her the guilt free non judgemental male term then - "playa"

reply

I guess that's less negative, but it's also way more lame.
The term slut needs to be legitimized.
If I were her, I would say "slut, and proud to be!"

reply

Like you wouldn't tap that ass

reply

I would tap it till it can't be tapped any more.

reply

More misogyny. 🙄🤦‍♂️
