Her body was insane. Very perky (stood-up-to-attention) breasts, thin waistline, noticable hips.....what else do you want in a woman (apart from yourself?)
And it's not as if she was ugly (facially) either. Husband (John Derek, must have preferred a certain trait....given that both his other ex-wives, Ursula Andress and Linda Evans, have a similar slender 'top-heavy' appeal)
Granted, she couldn't act for shit (and still can't) but she was (and still is) hot as fuck.
BTW, men 'rated' women long before this movie (however, I'm not entirely sure why you'd find any date of conception to be 'quote' "SAD" , it's one of the most basic instincts, makes the world go round and is likely the reason *YOU* exist?)
Agreed, she is still gorgeous. Although there were photo sessions with this "thin waistlined" lady where she obviously had to suck her gut in a little.
Men were rating women and women were rating men long before this movie ever came out. As far as your opinion of her looks...different strokes for different folks I guess, but Bo Derek in her prime is considered very very attractive by most.
I think the lack of bed fun and games was just part of it (although I think it was more of George's inability to perform for a variety of reasons and not Jenny's), but for George it was that Jenny wasn't particularly bright and not moral one bit - she was gladly boinking George while her husband was in the hospital.
George envisioned her as an unobtainable virgin, when in reality she was not only not a virgin but was promiscuous.
Jenny would get into bed with literally anyone and admitted to George that there was nothing special about him.. Kind of took the fantasy out of it for George.
