Woody Allen condemned for calling a 19-year-old Scarlett Johansson ‘sexually radioactive’ in new memoir

This was six months after she publicly defended Allen. Wonder why he doesn't use lines like this in his movies?

In the filmmaker’s controversial book, Apropos of Nothing, Allen describes first meeting Johansson after casting her in his 2005 film Match Point.

“She was only 19 when she did Match Point but it was all there: an exciting actress, a natural movie star, real intelligence, quick and funny, and when you meet her you have to fight your way through the pheromones,” Allen writes. “Not only was she gifted and beautiful, but sexually she was radioactive.”

He later adds of Johansson that he “used her in a few movies” and hopes to work with her again “before I die or senility sets in and I’m drooling, but not over her”.

He also jokes that casting Johansson and Penelope Cruz opposite one another in 2008’s Vicky Cristina Barcelona “caused each woman’s erotic valence to cube itself”.

Condemned by whom? And at 19? Are you kidding?? What are men supposed to lust after nowadays? A Milf? Is that it? Okay, so take thousands of years of human society and throw it away in a decade of outrage!

Seriously, no one is cutting old guys some slack? Everybody is a pervert now? Woody made his most famous movie about a guy lusting after a 16 year old and no one said anything back then. Maybe because it wasn't a big deal? It wouldn't be okay now, I get that, but to expect an 80 year old to be sensitive to today's outrage culture is quite a stretch.

Besides, the US elected a man who was accused by more than 20 women of sexual misconduct, even rape and even the rape of a 13 year old girl. Why is that guy not in jail?

This "documentary" is the perfect sign of our times. Totally distorted, one sided but ultimately besides any point.

I think people should quit the virtue signaling and political correctness angle on this ... it does not fit. This is a planned pointed attempt to assassinate Woody Allen personally and professionally based on 4 hours of a girl crying and shaking because he life has worked out poorly.

I started out feeling very sorry for Dylan, but it is apparent after watching this whole thing that is is a planned PR operation to boost Ronan Farrow's public image so he can run for office somewhere.

There is a story about how Mia Farrow had been planning Ronan's life so he could go into politics. Mia thought Ronan was too short, and said if you want to go into politics you need to be taller. So she bought Ronan surgery that was usually reserved for dwarfism where they break the legs and stretch the muscles to make the legs longer. How is that not abuse? That is horrible.

The truth is, men have always found young females attractive. Its really not that shocking or surprising.

And young females find older men attractive too. Although, when a girl looks at Woody Allen, I doubt the first thing that pops into her head is 'sex'. But still.... you'd be surprised to know just how many young girls do like older guys.

This is a crime committed by HBO in my opinion.
