It's not the holidays, it's Christmas!

So Merry Christmas!

The Zionist press decided decades ago to say "happy holidays" and call Christmas "the holidays".

Turn on the tv and you can hear it called "holiday travel" and "delays for the holiday weekend".

Don't fall for their agenda.

It's Christmas travel, the Christmas weekend and Christmas day.

So Merry Christmas!

Christmas + Hanukkah + New Year's = Holidays

Happy Holidays!

reply

Exactly! 🔔

reply

All those things can be individually celebrated and their own respective terms used.

reply

And people can do what they want as far as calling it what they want. So piss off.

reply

No iit is chrimahunaquanzika

reply

So New Year’s Day is not a holiday, nor is Thanksgiving.

How’s your acting career comin’ along?

reply

It's the solstice. Super Saturnalia!

reply

Happy Kwanzaa!!

reply

Forgot that one, though I've never met anyone who celebrates it.

reply

I’ve been working in the same significantly black Bronx neighborhood for over twenty years now and absolutely NOBODY ever mentions Kwanzaa. Not ever. Seriously, not even once.

I’m convinced that ‘Kwanzaa’ was pumped up by greeting card companies to sell product, it is a phony event and a money grab much like ‘Mother’s Day’ and ‘Father’s Day.’

Valentine’s Day is pretty stupid too. Valentine’s Day can piss off.

reply

I bought a whole stack of Valentines cards from a shop that was closing down years ago - I’ll never have to buy another one again (The Ever Romantic Andy).

reply

*Smart Andy👍

Every year I used to find myself scrambling to meet the romantic demands of dumb and fake holidays because the calendar said so…luckily my Woman is about as sentimental as me, which is hardly at all.

‘Is the roof sturdy, is there heating oil down below in the tanks, the cars may need an oil change, did we feed the dog cuz she’s acting very snippy!’

Phooey to fake ‘holidays,’ damn, we are all busy enough without fake nonsense.

My Wifey and I keep a journal that we share, we write sweet notes to each other often. General love type stuff, it’s a good system, no cards and no bullshit.

reply

I also bought a pallet of assorted Christmas card boxes from them for £100 to send to our clients - 20 years later and we still haven’t run out yet, lol (Bargain Basement Andy).

reply

Clients to themselves: "why does Andy keep sending me these cards that look like they're 20 years old?"

reply

But that’s just it, Christmas cards never get the old.

reply

What is kwanzaa ?

reply

CHRISTMAS LIKE CELEBRATION OF AFRICAN AMERICAN CULTURE.

reply

Oh ok. Thanks.

reply

Christmas is a holiday though

reply

Oh it's so much more than a holiday.

reply

For people like you, it's also an opportunity to spoil the season by unloading your holier than thou attitude on everyone.

reply

I went to Catholic school in the 70s and they never had an issue with “Seasons Greetings” or “Happy Holidays”. What they did not like was writing it as “Xmas”.

reply

X mas is offensive too. Keep the Christ in Christmas!

reply

"X mas is offensive too."

No, it isn't. It's an abbreviation that's been around for almost 1,000 years. The "X" stands for "Christ" because it's the first letter of "Christ" in the Greek alphabet (X = Chi, and the Greek word for "Christ" is Christós).

Some modern audiences feel Xmas is a disrespectful abbreviation for Christmas, mistakenly assuming the X is meant to replace Christ with a secular symbol. However, the truth is just the opposite: the X is an ancient shorthand for Christ.

What's funny is when atheists type "Xmas" thinking they're making some sort of anti-Christian statement.
