First it was the girlfriend last season, now Miguel's turn to look like a Zoomed couch potato.

Ralph Macchio is like 80 and he's in shape for this, but the kids, with good metabolism, can't even keep continuity for one season.

I noticed he wasn't in shape, too. Quarantine eating?

Realistically, probably. But also his character suffered a major back injury so it would make sense that he isn't as fit as he was prior to his injury.

That would make sense, if this season didn’t start right where the last one left off, so there has been time for him to gain that weight in the continuity of the show, and in the show he was still quite active because he was trying to keep strong from his back injury.

It’s really noticeable and kinda feels like he isn’t caring much about the show since he doesn’t appear to be the main focus anymore like it felt for the first couple season, so he’s let himself go and no one cares.

I also noticed that the actress that played Piper has put on some pounds.

Maybe they'll give him a neck beard next season, and his transformation into "Stink Ray" will be complete! ;-)

lol, yea. The weight gain reminded me of how the same thing happened to Danny boy in KK III. But that was explained with his apparent love for mac & cheese. Not sure wat Miggy's excuse was.

Miquel does physically change from the beginning and end of the show.

He’s fulfilling his genetic destiny and becoming a fat Mexican beaner.

I also enjoy his slow closing and opening of the eyes, like he constantly needs a siesta.
