Henry Cavill was tired of the writers and producers disrespecting the Witcher franchise, particularly where they downplayed the role Geralt has in the story in favor of the female characters, and the last straw involved the [asshole] writers wanting to kill off Geralt's horse, Roach, and try to make it funny. (Anyone who knows anything about the Witcher franchise knows that Roach is greatly loved by Geralt, and one of his closest [nonhuman] friends in the stories).
It's amazing how ungrateful the people making this show are. There are tens of thousands of people who would have killed to get to work on the set of that show, and probably would have written better material that was more respectful of the source material. And yet what does Netflix use? Woke bitchy writers and producers that don't know jack shit about the franchise, just want to earn money, and snicker at the story because it doesn't suit their ideology.

I'm afraid Liam Hemsworth honestly doesn't have a really strong screen presence compared to his brother or Henry. He's good at playing quiet, mild-mannered men, but that's it. I truly cannot see him as the Witcher, white wig or not.
