why are big apes only interested in tiny white women?

where is the attraction? can someone please explain?

All Kong had ever seen was the island natives who were(throughout all the films thus far) anything but white. A white woman was exotic to him. That is how I always understood it.

King Kong The Musical played on Broadway a few years back. The actress portraying Ann Darrow was a POC. It was the first time a non-white played the part of the ‘damsel in distress’ in a Kong story.

kong the puppet was incredible. they should have made it a play with the original screenplay and an orchestra playing the max steiner score. it would still be running.
