Nolan Fanboys will be the ones to rate this movie down

We all know how obsessed they are and how insecure they get.

I remember the days when they used to vote any Nolan movie straight a 10 even before it used to get released and without even watching it.

All the 1s voted on IMDb are from those who either are not in their senses or are the obsessed. Nolan fannies.

He basically revived the batman franchise, so I think he deserved a bit of credit.

I don't really like his other movies, but batman begins really was a break through.

reply

Yes he did. After the horror that was "Batman and Robin" there was no guarantee we'd ever see a Batman movie again, but then Nolan stepped up and delivered (in order) a very good one, a great one, and a decent one. That said, they have their flaws, even The Dark Knight, and I say that as a fan of the trilogy. I honestly think this new movie is a better Batman film than any of them. As a film, shown to someone who doesn't know much about the Batman character, the Dark Knight might still edge it out, but I think people who know and love Batman from the comics will acknowledge that Reeves' film is the first time we have seen the focus on Batman as a detective.

As good as Nolan's Batman movies were, it's a shame that some people become emotionally invested in them, as if they were their children, and then have to hate another Batman movie, with a different take on the character, as if it were some sort of betrayal. As many times as Batman has been reinterpreted in the comics over his long history, you'd think people could accept that the big screen has room for different interpretations also.

I thought the Dark Knight was overrated, and I also rate this movie 1/10, because it sucks. Thanks for reminding me to downvote it on IMDB though, I had forgotten to do it.

reply

People gave it more credit than it deserves I think mostly because Heath Ledger got an Oscar for it arguably because of his death.

I like batman begins a lot better.

reply

Snyder fans will more than nolan fans

reply

Yep. Mainly because Snyder fans wanted more of Ben Affleck's Batman. Also, those that are anti-Robert Pattinson will more than likely mess with stuff as well since they don't want the guy from Twilight to turn Batman all sparkly, although I never saw any sparkles when watching The Batman. And I hate Twilight as well, but I was willing to give Robert Pattinson a chance as Batman and not auto-hate/dislike the movie like a lot of people were. And I saw him in Tenet. He was fine/tolerable.

I've liked quite a few of Christopher Nolan's movies. Mainly the three Batman movies and Inception. I enjoyed The Batman though. It's definitely not a 1 star. If I were to rate it on IMDB, it wouldn't be lower than an 8/10. Not saying that's what I'd give it. I could give it a 9 or 10 out of 10.

I think the Snyder fans will be the ones trying to mess with The Batman's IMDB rating. Mainly because they want more of Ben Affleck's Batman. I did want more of his Batman, but I was willing to give Robert Pattinson's Batman a chance and be fair about stuff. The Batman was a good movie. I'll be getting it on Blu-Ray when it comes out.

Also, all those that are anti-Robert Pattinson might mess with stuff as well. They think that he'll turn Batman all sparkly and stuff because of Twilight (which I didn't see at all). I hate Twilight, but I was willing to give him a chance.

I am a Nolan fanboy. I've loved every film in his filmography.

This movie is great. So calm the fuck down.

reply

They're snobs

reply

Nolan fanboys don't even exist anymore (they said zilch when Tenet was struggling and ignored their savior's decree that HBOMax was the "worst streaming service ever"), my theory is they've all become Snyderites.

I have zero interest in seeing yet another Batman remake, and I have always been a supporter of Burton's Batman over Nolan's Throat-Cancer Batman.

reply

I thought Tenet was good. Surprised Nolan fans didn't stick up for it more.

reply

They've been AWOL on social media since around the time of Batman v. Superman, which is why I believe most Nolanites simply switched jerseys and now are Snyderites.

reply

Oh I see. That's interesting. Didn't know that they switched teams.

reply

That movie was trash due to a completely miscast lead.

None of the movie was really all that tolerable from that point onward, and it was a struggle to stay interested due to the woke-casting.

reply

Guess you're right. Dark Knight is insanely overrated movie, one of the most overrated films in history. Dark Knight Rises is like miles better. I never understood why every incel nolan fanboy has such a hard on for that movie.

reply

i assume it's only because of Heath Ledger's death
put ANY other actor in his shoes and one admits the movie is pretty bad
