You hate the fact that something can be two things at once? Rebel Moon does suck, it blatantly rips off numerous film narratives, is unoriginal as well as incompetently written but it is also terribly woke, and if you read my post I explain exactly why it’s woke. Have you even watched Rebel Moon or are you hating my opinion (which seems a bit excessive if you ask me) based on an assumption as well as bias that you’ve developed from critiquing film criticisms without even having watched the film in the first place.
Since you brought up the word “hate,” I’ll tell you what I hate, shitty material that is part of a propaganda machine. I can stomach poorly written films as long as the film has a heart, take Prometheus for example, the writing was excruciatingly bad at times, but the concepts were wholly original and the only agenda was to tell a unique narrative, and because of that, Prometheus will always be a film I admire.
But when a director tries to sell me cat shit packaged in a socio-political agenda, I have every right to call it out as such.

Left, right, republican, democrat, it’s all the same, for most of us, good people doing the best they can living in the grey, or middle or a little to either side. Being woke is no different than being a racist or sexist or all around shitty human being. Grow up and read between the lines of what I’m saying instead of looking for any reason to engage in passive aggressive behavior.

Nobody had a problem when Nazis were the bad guys in previous movies and games and stuff, and they still don’t. Everyone agrees that the Nazis were evil.

But portraying people with different opinions than yours as evil Nazis, that's an example of being woke.

Active listening or in this case, active reading, is a fundamental skill needed when one is wanting to take meaningful part in a discussion.
