I decided to watch this because the manbabies kept complaining how “woke” it is. I’m now on #TeamTeela!

The toxic fandom who keeps whining about wokeness are really unbearable. They only race swapped one minor character, Andra. And I happen to love Teela’s new look—she is both beautiful and powerful. Her leading an army of men was truly inspiring in episode 1.

I think it’s a positive thing that female characters get more emphasis in the new Masters of the Universe—it is reinvigorating this iconic series. Society has evolved and these modest changes are quite forward thinking and on the cutting edge. If we had He-Man and the male characters getting all of the attention, there would be much less fan interest because the modern audience is now more feminist and diverse.

Count me in for #TeamTeela!

its just neosexism to define strenght as masculine traits. a strong woman doesnt need muscles. and emotionally teela was written like a spoiled teenager when she finds out about adams secret.

reply

I think Teela's hair looks great. She still seemed pretty feminine to me?

reply

Her hair is ok, i don't see that as a masculine trait. But she was far from being feminine. Her girlfriend was more feminine ... while still being masculinized.

It's weird that in order for women to be seen as "equal" they MUST be masculinized. And males in order to be seen as weak they must be ... feminized.

It's like the show tries to tell us that masculine traits are strong and feminine is weak. The exact opposite of the message that they are supposed to transmit.

"Hey, i'm a stronk whaman and how better can I show it if not by boasting with masculinity" :D

reply

She looks feminine albeit the hairstyle is not my type. I don't like that haircut as it looks ridiculous imo. For women, such hairstyles don't really suit them imo but whatever, it is their choice.

reply

except Teela is not a real person, but a designed product

reply

Shut up, you toxic Soybaby!

reply

Ha!

I'll assume you were being sarcastic and giving me a humorous jab.

reply

No, you really are a toxic Soybaby and you need to shut up.

reply

Yet here you are behaving like an absolute child with your 'shut up, you're stupid' comments . . .

reply

Have you watched "Revelation" or are you here to troll?

reply

There's nothing wrong with you enjoying it. Woke parishioners enjoy woke movies and shows, the same way Christians enjoy Christian movies and shows and Mormons enjoy Mormon movies and shows. Religious movies have a target, Woke ones are no exception.

Of course, non-religious people don't like the big franchises and companies in Hollywood being controlled and used to preach some specific gospel, either Woke or Mormon or anything else.

It seems that Wokes have a hard time accepting that many people are not interested in being preached their gospel or sharing their faith.

I'VE BEEN FEELING KIND OF OLD LATELY...SEEING YOU STRUGGLE TO COMPREHEND THE WAVE THAT YOU MISINTERPRET AS A CULT OR RELIGION IS ACTUALLY JUST THE FUTURE...A FUTURE YOU ARE OBVIOUSLY NOT A PART OF AS YOU CAN'T COMPREHEND IT...WELL...I DON'T FEEL SO OLD ANYMORE...THANKS GRANDPA,EXP.DATE:SOON.

reply

THE WAVE THAT YOU MISINTERPRET AS A CULT OR RELIGION IS ACTUALLY JUST THE FUTURE

It's not.

It could be, of course. Religions can become dominant and stay for centuries. The problem for Wokeness is that it's a white religion... which causes whites to be replaced. Feminism, diversity and Wokeness in general will vanish the moment whites are replaced. It's a religion that will kill itself eventually.

Check South Africa. No Wokeness or rainbow country there anymore. Right now it's just standard African culture, just another standard African shithole.

reply

DIVERSITY IS THE FUTURE...IF YOU CAN'T SEE THAT...IT'S BECAUSE YOU ARE BLIND.

reply

In the future there will only be CAPS. Lower case will die out with all of the old white men.

reply

I LOOK FORWARD TO THAT DAY.

reply

Behold a cuck!

reply

Its not even Teela, its some woke LGBT bastardization of every master character. I bet you also enjoy drag queen story hour

reply

I only watched 2 episodes so far. I didn't detect any LGBT nuances.

If you're referring to Teela and her companion, it seemed like a bond of friendship more than anything.

reply

You think a haircut makes someone LGBT, hahahaha!

reply

There's more to it than just the haircut and its been laid out many times. Laid out like you at a Pride Parade

reply

Like Photos Photoshopped pics?

reply

Lolwhut

reply

Yep you sure showed those manbabies by watching a cartoon created to sell toys to children, take that manbabies!

reply

It's a show for adults, as Kevin Smith sold the show to original fans of 80s series

reply

Ah so if you like the show you're an "adult" but if you don't like it you're a "manbaby" okaaay sounds totally reasonable gtfo

I don't know if i would care for a ongoing multiple season that just about Teela. This is just a mini-series about how Teela becomes the new Sorcerous. Ive said this since the damn this was announce. But nobody listens. Its a unresolved plotline from the old show. Which im totally fine with. I guess they could done that without He-man being dead for 4 episodes. But i don't think they did it to emasculate He-man. More to change the status quo a bit. I could take or leave the way she looks. But I do get annoyed with people who think a haircut automatically makes the whole show bad. As far her armor, its O.k. But i prefer her old outfit. Im here for the story, not her fucking haircut. The show really isn't all that woke, so far. Beside race swapping King Grayskull (which i don't think much sense) and Andra (who i don't even remember). The Story is not really political at all. I don't find it even be very feminist either, in the way other show and movies have been.

reply

I didn't even know King Grayskull was going to Black--which I happen to think is a fantastic idea. I presume that he appears sometime after episode 2. That's even more the reason for me to continue watching the series!

reply

We WuZ KanGz GrAySkUlLZ

King Grayskull is an ancestor of Adam. Adam is white. You think shoe horning race into typical white roles is a fantastic idea? What if it was reversed and black characters getting replaced by white ones?

reply

I have a fetish that gets me aroused when someone online posts something super woke. Just so you know, I'm rock hard right now. Mmmmmmmmm..... don't stop.

reply

Methinks you're being sarcastic here.

But I do enjoy seeing the tears of the manbabies and incels who get upset when their sacred pop culture puts a bit more emphasis on female and diverse characters.
