It's not even evidence of anything happening. It's someone posting a video that could be any theater at any time, claiming it was a sold out show that no one attended. For something as preposterous as what you are claiming, the evidence needs to be concrete, not "I heard about a guy..."

It is nuts to think the return of Batman'89 in like a DCEU version of No Way Home/Multiverse of Madness won't even get to 300m. Yet The Marvels could very well do three times that (unless this bombs out too, but then Cap Marvel made 1.1b , one of MCUs biggest hits)

Captain Marvel was released in Phase 4, sandwiched in between Infinity War and Endgame.

The public was still confident about the quality of MCU films. Now not so much.

it opened horribly to literally zero compeition. its seen a massive massive drop off to already horrible opening numbers.

we know how itll go because we can compare it to films that had the same path.look you can live in reality and accept fact or scream "no this one will break all those trends andrules cause my feelings!!"

The movie had a $220M budget plus $100M on marketing, according to Variety.

This would also be the lowest grossing MCU movie ever.
