Twice now I've attempted to watch this thing and twice now I've turned it off because of John Goodman's obnoxious character. Just terrible. Nothing but yelling and swearing. I'm out.

And incessant swearing for the sake of swearing--where it adds absolutely nothing to what the character is trying to convey--comes across as forced and desperate. You often see this occur in movies that try really hard to appeal to teenagers. Are you a teenager, by chance?

Because that is such a ridiculous summation of Goodmans performance in the movie, if you had bothered to watch it all the way through.
I suffered all the way through. It took me multiple attempts, but I eventually made it. NEVER AGAIN.

shareI personally thought old man Lebowski was a much more obnoxious character than Walter to be honest with you, at least I was able to sympathize with Walter because he has been through a lot, I sometimes wonder if Walter was a real life character how would he feel about the Covid 19 pandemic.
