How serious is this?

Do you think she'll survive? I'm thinking, if they decided to go public, that may be a bad sign, this may be or become terminal? What do you think?

reply

My thoughts & prayers are with her and it might be pretty bad..

reply

It sounds bad. I lost my husband this last year to neuroendocrine pancreatic cancer. We don't know what kind of abdominal surgery she had, but what's happening sounds all too familiar. "We got it all!" "Wait. The scan showed a small lymph node...."

They've learned a lot in the last 8 years, and whatever kind of cancer this is, there have been a lot of advancements cancer research. She has a lot of people praying for her. And she's got the advantage of all eyes being on her doctors so she won't get treated like the average person who has to go through the medical meatgrinder. And thank heaven she's not having to settle for the NHS!

reply

Agreed, it is looking like possible pancreatic cancer as I have been through something similar recently. Surgeon said he could "fix it" and then "Couldn't clear the margins" after surgery then chemo and 2.5 years later, death.

It's a bitch of a disease.

reply

Someone just told me that the King has pancreatic cancer and isn't expected to live more than two years. I don't know why we seem to be having an upsurge in pancreatic cancer, recently.

reply

I lost someone dear to me recently who had pancreatic cancer. It’s a fast killing cancer.

I was told not much research has been put into it like other cancers but as it is increasing that might change. It is also really hard to detect early.

I would say in part it’s due to the rise in diabetes which can cause pancreatic cancer and obesity although who knows. I just read Charles has prostate cancer but until they come out and say it, it’s anyone’s guess.

reply

There are three different kinds of pancreatic cancer. You can stay around for at least five years with neuroendocrine pancreatic cancer. My husband stayed around for eight years. If his cancer had been managed properly, he likely could have lasted longer.

Lutathera is a miracle treatment for neuroendocrine pancreatic cancer. It can not only seal it off, but it can shrink it. Properly administered and renewed every four years, it can do wonders.

Removing part of the pancreas also takes with it cells that process carbs. The doctors were amazed that my husband lasted as long as he did without diabetes. But I got him down to pre-diabetic levels. Diabetes was the least of his problems in the last few years of his life.

I thought it was prostate cancer! The friend that told me is worried about a cat of hers with dementia, so she might have read it wrong. I'm sorry to hear you had someone close to you die of one of the forms of pancreatic cancer. It's a horrible disease for which I hope they soon find an outright cure -- in all its forms.

reply

My father diagnosed Christmas Eve 1981, died Jan 9, 1982 (coincidentally, the day Princess Kate was born).

reply

That is what my dad died from but they have made advances in 42 years?

reply

Probably but it is still fast killing and hard to detect early.

reply

My dad coincidentally died the day Kate was born.

reply

Wow, sorry for your loss. How old were you when he passed?

reply

18 (but my birthday is Jan 15)

reply

Neuroendocrine? If so, yes. There's a treatment called Lutathera -- it also goes by another name -- and it goes directly to the cancer and starts killing it. They refine that even more, and they may have a cure for neuroendocrine pancreatic cancer in our lifetimes. Doesn't help those we've lost one bit, of course.

But the one point everyone seems to be missing is that there are three different kinds of pancreatic cancer. I'm only talking about neuroendocrine. The other point everyone is missing is that no cancer is treatable if it's not caught in time. Any pancreatic cancer is difficult to diagnose. Most are only caught while looking for something else, which is yet another reason why pancreatic cancer of any stripe is very deadly. One last thing -- no one wants to admit it, but that vaccine causes turbo cancers that go through the body far more quickly than they would normally. That can happen with any cancer. It's not just the vaccine. It's also any blood transfusion from people with the vaccine.

reply

Where is the science and proof behind your ridiculous statement that the vaccine promotes cancer?

reply

It's anecdotal. People I've known. People others have known.

Now here's where you crow that statistics don't show...blah, blah, blah. They're also denying they cause the spike in excess deaths, but there's no other explanation. Wait. Don't tell me. "Climate Change," right?

reply

I thought so.

All the vaccine is…is a dead version of the virus. It works the same way as that measles vaccine you got as a kid. It triggers your body to create antibodies to fight off the virus.

It’s not some chemical concoction. That Diet Coke you’re drinking is far more dangerous than a vaccine.

reply

You're talking about the old-time vaccines that I got as a child almost 70 years ago. I was talking about the mRNA vaccine they used against Covid.

Nice chatting with you. Please do some research. You're right about those old vaccines -- utterly harmless. Especially the mere four or five I took back in the day.

No vaccine is necessary if there's treatment, though. I almost died, as my husband almost did, of Covid. One of the doctors mentioned in RFK,Jr's book, "The Real Anthony Fauci," prescribed ivermectin for us and in three days we were on the road to recovery. They pushed those clotshots for financial gain and suppressed the information that there was an effective treatment.

reply

I think YOU need to do some research. I'm glad you're out of harm's way....but I will trust the word and advice of my doctor, my wife's doctor....my friends who are doctors...and insane amounts of data out there to be found: getting a COVID vaccine is the smart thing to do, and is of no risk. Believing it causes all sorts of other malodies is like saying you also feel it's the government's way of injecting a computer chip into you so they can track you. I mean....please.

Ask a doctor. Ask ANY doctor. Ask your pharmacist. Smart, trained people in medicine highly recommend getting vaccinated, not just to help prevent catching the virus, but also to keep your symptoms to a minimum if you DO catch it. When COVID first came out, people were lined-up in the hallways of hospitals, struggling to live and waiting for ventilators. The death counts were astonishing. That is all but gone now, because people are wisely getting vaccinated en masse, just the same as they get vaccinated for the flu.

There is zero evidence that vaccines promote cancer, and any doctor, pharmacist or scientist would laugh at the suggestion. People who believe these things walk around with tin foil hats on their heads.
I mean......just....wow.

reply

Well, we're both left saying wow.

Watch Mark Steyn's "Victims of the Vax" special. It'll open your eyes. Mr. Steyn was told that his current heart problems were due to his having to take the vax. He's currently in a wheelchair.

It helped a good deal that they learned people put on ventilators didn't do as well as those who weren't, early on. They pushed too much oxygen, which can kill people. Ask any emphysema patient. But it's all gone now because they learned how better to manage things rather than botch them, even when they refused to give people the medication that would have cured them.

Try reading The Real Anthony Fauci. It's an eye-opener, and well researched. And I hope none of your relatives or friends develop cancer after taking the vax.

Oh -- in Oregon they would laugh heartily at anyone who doesn't adhere to the straight party line. Even though IVM cured people, any doctor would lose his or her license if they prescribed the medication. It worked, but they withheld it from dying patients because if there was a treatment, they couldn't force people to take the vax. And we're all about Big Pharma. It's not coincidence that the two choices on the ballot are both bought and paid for by Big Pharma -- the "Father of the Vax," and the guy who doubled down on all of Trump's Covid policies.

reply

Very sad. She’s always seemed like a genuinely nice person. Hopefully she pulls through.

reply

Sad to hear. My guess is they've now confirmed that someone did manage to access her medical records, and the palace decided to release the news before someone else did.

reply

That's pure scum. People have a right to privacy. Even the working royals.

The non-working royals like Harry and Meghan, on the other hand....

reply

Yeah I heard that, something about the individual(s) working at the hospital saw how much the guy who filmed the video of her walking at the farm made (six figures) and decided to sell her medical records to a foreign press (as Uk press obviously wouldn't touch it)

reply

The groundwork has been laid for her to pass away without having to make any further appearances.

reply

Place your bets! When do you think Kate will croak?!

reply

Looking on the dark side.. Say if Charles and Kate's cancers were those aggressive ones where they pass away soon after diagnosed (like Alan Rickman and others), and within like a year of each other.

Itd be the biggest events in recent history next to the Queen and Diana , Charles as the King dying would be mind blowing enough, but Kate it'd be like Diana 2.0. Absolute seismic events of the 21st century, 'where were you when' events, the state funerals. you can imagine it all over again.. The media would implode/explode in like a multiversal multimedia cataclysm of insanity/excitement/mass devastation, the earth shattering tremors would be felt across the globe for a full year of media onslaught and beyond

Then obviously William is King (the whole coronation thing again), possible reconnection with H&M (straight out of Dynasty or TonyStark/SteveRogers level soap opera) carefully and stealthily orchestrated by Meghan, who in the fallout would become even more famous. more A list than ever (easily the most famous woman on the planet, on the scale of Diana).

William then becomes the most eligible bachelor of all time, the target of every A list women between 30-40 (visions of them being the next Queen of England/Princess Diana/Grace Kelly) ..

Of course the more likely outcome is that both with be cured of the cancer completely in preemptive treatment, and go on to many years of healthy lives

reply

I don't see Wills reconnecting with Harry and Megs it would be the last thing on his mind and I think he is savvy enough to realize that Harry and Megs would be trying to get back into the Royal Family.

I also doubt the British public would accept Harry and Megs. Everyone is tired of them.

Depends on the cancer really, if it is pancreatic for Kate that is a fast killer and hard to beat. Prostate for Charles would be easier but he is elderly.

I don't think Wills would be able to remarry or date for a long time, there would be a definite keeping up appearences thing and if he were to date too soon after Kate's death it would not go well for him.

reply

Ordinary yes William would be savvy enough to know what H&M were up to but the devastation/trauma of losing his wife&father (and harry losing his father) and becoming king might lower his defences and need for support/help which might allow them back into the frame , also he might have to even if he no want to as who else is there? Andrews out, Anne & Edward would be there but that's it and they getting on abit (without Charles the elderly 'Queen' Camilla would probably be gently eased out of the RF Fergie style)

Regarding dating, yeah it wouldn't be for a long while maybe a full year or two before you'd see pap shots of Williams stepping out with Natalie Portman or Anne Hathaway etc (and some of his old ex's)

reply

William will never "reconcile" with Harry. Megan is out of the question. Because what's the point? Harry is SNITCH. The moment he released book and sold their secrets - door has closed for him forever. Because they can never trust him.

And everyone are tired of Meghan. She is old news. Don't forget they are in their forties. They are middle age now. Not some hot young couple.

reply

Serious as cancer...
