Lots of time newcomer actors are being told their life will change and they become stars. And then movie flops and no one cares. Same happened to Alex Pettyfer. It's hilarious, really. You have all this nobodies getting ready to become rich and "fans" and paps stalking them. And then none is happening.
Mena Massoud from Alladin. And that movie was actually box-office hit. But not thanks to him. He actually complained that after Alladin there were no roles offered. I checked his imdb. He has 3 movies in the making. With some d-listers I never heard of.

Yep. This is crazy. I never watched Euphoria and was confused why this actress suddenly started to appear in news every day. Like she is some star. And it was before Anyone But You.
Media hyped her and tried to make her famous. I don't think ordinary people know her. And on that "media hype" Hollywood producers quickly hired her in so many stuff. Anyone But You was surprise hit because people miss rom-coms. But Madam Webb and Immaculate flopped.
She has two movies in production. Premise sounds boring. We will see.
Her 15 minutes of fame will be over soon anyway. She is 26 years old. 30 are near by. And that's when those actresses who become famous for "being hot" usually lose their relevance by becoming too old in the eyes of producers and are being replaced by new 21 years old "hot faces".
Remember Ana de Armas. I can barely remember too. She disappeared the way she came - in a flash. Was replaced by Sidney. Ana de Armas is 35 years old. That's why she was basically dumped by Hollywood and horny men. Same will happen to Sidney. She will disappear overnight and press will find new 22 years old "hot body" to be obsessed with.
I can't take her serious with this as she shows her boobs on purpose but wearing the most open bras. Because she saw this is what can make her famous. She basically sold her body herself and now complains. LOL.

I understand that she wanted to be famous. And since she is not pretty or talented - this was her only way on top. So she started showing her breasts everywhere seeing how "nerds from moms basements" obsessed over them. And now that she did become famous - she doesn't want to be known as "boobs woman".
But you can't have it both way honey. That is the only reason why you are famous. The moment you will hide you boobs - all those nerds and horny middle age losers will lose interest in you.

All those "overseas" numbers are irrelevant. Because half of them stay there overseas. And American studio don't see them. China takes 2/3 of the grosses and gives 1/3 back to American studio.
It may count when movie gets like 500 overseas. Then studio will see at least 200 of them.
It had a budget of 9 million. Few more millions spent on promotion. Those tv spots are not free. At best case it broke even. Not making any money. But getting back what was spend. And studios don't shoot movie to not make anything of it. They shoot it to make money. And when they hired her for this they expected this to be moderate horror flick.
Why hire her for next movie with 50 millions budget when her "star power" will bring only 15 millions back? She is insta-famous.
Also I didn't understand why didn't he crawl back to find road in the first place. It was obviously that car fell from somewhere. Cliff or a road. And there were broken trees and pretty much way from where car came. So road must be near by.
He did it in the end and found the place they fell from. I liked how they made it look like there was no road to which he complained to himself. But road was actually higher.
Till the end of movie I thought dog belonged to that other guy who stole money and then died in that cave.
I didn't understand the shooting either. Since we saw empty cartridges. He probably imagined it shooting. Or not every was empty. Or it was an error from filmmakers.And who would even go on robbery with such small gun? Where was other weapon? There were 3 robbers. They surely had more then one gun.
Dead body on the road was one of the robbers. He fell out of a car or crawled there too. Those kind of roads could be car free for days. There could be no cars for 5 days easily. Or car could not see him lying there.
We don't know how much time pass between call and cop arriving. Could be few hours. He called cop, don't forget. Cop did not just find him. He had phone.
Movie pretty much explained it in final twist that he was kidnapped and it was his girlfriend. And she didn't die. I buy that.
I assume he imagined falling into river? Because no way he would crawl back to car.
I didn't understand who was that guy who stole money and where he came from? Then was killed and eaten by animal and that's where our character found phone in that cave. Did he imagine that too. Movie created too much of fake imagined stuff.
