Rebel Wilson Claims Sacha Baron Cohen Is Hollywood 'A--hole' 'Trying to Threaten' Her, Block Memoir

After teasing out the identity of an unnamed "a--hole" she claims to have worked with in the past, Rebel Wilson went ahead and revealed who it was ahead of the release of her upcoming memoir.

"I will not be bullied or silenced by high priced lawyers or PR crisis managers," Wilson wrote in a new update on her Instagram Stories. "The 'a--hole' that I am talking about in ONE CHAPTER of my books is: Sacha Baron Cohen."

The comedian, best known for portraying the fictional characters Borat and and Ali G, worked together on the 2016 Grimsby film, with Wilson portraying the girlfriend of Cohen's characters.

As noted by The Hollywood Reporter, Wilson had previously spoken up about her filming experience with Cohen on the film in 2014, telling Australia's Courier and Mail that "every day" he'd ask her to "go naked" for a scene. She said she even threatened to tell their shared American agent "how much you are harassing me."

She thought she'd won that ongoing argument when the film used a body double for the final scene. "Then in the last scene ... he was like, 'Rebel can you just stick your finger up my butt?' And I went, 'What do you mean Sacha? That's not in the script.' "And he's like, 'Look, I'll just pull down my pants, you just stick your finger up my butt, it'll be a really funny bit."

According to the newspaper, Wilson settled on a compromise with Cohen's character, slapping him on the butt instead. TooFab has reached out to a representative for Cohen for comment.

Could not stand this idiot ever since he appeared in Madonna video. Just as I could never stand Russel Brand.

Could never understand why Hollywood time after time tries to make happen these "comics" who are never funny and their only schtick is to be as obnoxious as possible.

And as we see again and again - when they play obnoxious a-holes in movies and interviews - they are like that in real life. They are just playing themselves.

Obnoxious or not, if you don't find the Ali G Show, Borat or Bruno hilarious, then you're probably in the spectrum and barely human.

The fact that you compared him with Russel Brand shows that you probably haven't even watched any of SBC's work, besides a Madonna video.

I can't even watch that creepy footage. You have a new young actress with no say in anything. Who is just happy to be cast in anything. And you have powerful Hollywood star that writes a scene and forces that actress to put a finger in his ass. She has to comply and act like she is ok. not to be fired and seem unprofessional.

When that actress becomes a powerful star later and says she hated that experiences but could not do anything and had to follow what that pervert ordered her - he releases that disgusting video and scream : "Look - she put a finger in my ass and is not crying about it".

What a pig. It would be cool to have a lawsuit where all his pervertness would dome out. Keep in mind that he didn't demand some male star to put finger in his ass. Like Mark Strong who starred there. Mark would say "No". But young actress? Sure, lets write a scene for her.

What she got wrong? Was that scene in original script or was it added later when she already sighed and could not back up? Did that scene made the final cut or was it left out in cutting floor because she didn't want to do it?

She did not lie about that scene. It really existed and he really made her put her finger in his butt. She was young actress with no power and when all those people in power tell her to shoot it - she agrees. Like so many other actresses who then regret it and tell they were forced and they felt de-humiliated.

All those actresses put brave professional face and film it. Because they are afraid to be fired and never work in Hollywood again because they would be blacklisted. Which happened here.

I remember that film....the whole thing was crude and vulgar comedy. Completely believable that she was asked to do that, for the film, as it fits with the tone of the film.

It's not like she was starring in Pride and Prejudice and he wanted her to stick her finger up his ass. It's not like he asked for a blow job.

People should watch the elephant scene from the film to get an idea of the comedy. A finger up the bum is tame in comparison and most likely for the sake of the film.

Look at the naked scene in the hotel in the film Borat.

They probably thought Rebel was open minded when it came to comedy shock value but she turned out to be fucking boring.

There's a whole chapter devoted to this? LOL I bet there's actresses out there laughing and saying to themselves "I had to do a whole (pun intended) lot worse"!
