"The day we do think that's OK is the day we will look back and say that is the day America lost its way."

My colleagues might think it's OK that the Russians offered dirt on the Democratic candidate for president as part of what's described as the Russian government's effort to help the Trump campaign.

My colleagues might think it's OK that when that was offered to the son of the president, who had a pivotal role in the campaign, that the son did not call the FBI, he did not adamantly refuse that foreign help — no, instead that son said he would 'love' the help with the Russians.

You might think it was ok that he took that meeting.

You might think it's ok that Paul Manafort, the campaign chair, someone with great experience running campaigns, also took that meeting.

You might think it's ok that the president's son-in-law also took that meeting.

You might think it's ok that they concealed it from the public.

You might think it's ok that their only disappointment after that meeting was that the dirt they received on Hillary Clinton wasn't better.

You might think it's OK. I don't."

You might think it's OK that Flynn secretly conferred with a Russian ambassador about undermining US sanctions & then lied about it to the FBI.

You might say that's all OK -- that's just what you have to do to win... I think it's corrupt & evidence of collusion.

You might think it's OK that the president's son-in-law sought to establish a secret back channel of communication with Russians through a Russian diplomatic facility. I don't think that's OK.

You might think it's OK that an associate of the president made direct contact with the GRU through Guccifer 2.0 and WikiLeaks.

You might think it's OK that a senior campaign official was instructed to reach that associate and find out what that hostile intelligence agency had to say, in terms of dirt on his opponent.

You might think it's OK that the national security adviser-designate secretly conferred with a Russian ambassador about undermining U.S. sanctions, and you might think it's OK he lied about it to the FBI.

You might say that's all OK, that that's just what you need to do to win.

But I don't think it's OK. I think it's immoral, I think it's unethical, I think it's unpatriotic and, yes, I think it's corrupt, and evidence of collusion.

I do not think that conduct, criminal or not, is OK.

The day we do think that's OK is the day we will look back and say that is the day America lost its way.

reply

We lost our way when 63 million Americans legitimately thought the host of The Celebrity Apprentice should control access to our nuclear arsenal.

reply

Americans lost their way long before that.

reply

Reading this makes it even more ridiculous that Republicans are calling for him to resign.

reply

They're calling for him to resign because he's a liar. He can think hes righteous and that's fine, but Mueller gave his report and the democrats need to accept it, drink a coke and shut the Fuck up. Its been 2 years. No collusion.

reply

Schiff is a crooked, lying, slimy, smug, sanctimonious, steaming POS. Wow, what a thorough idiot. This is the a-hole who made up his own fake version of the Ukraine transcript and read it to Congress on national tv. And you think he's the righteous warrior who is going to save us from the villainous Trump? Your derangement has carried you to the abyss of hysteria. You need to be slapped repeatedly until you snap out of it and accept, like grownups, that you lost in 2016 because your candidate was even worse than anything you have invented to blame on Trump.

reply

And more people voted for her. Imagine that !
Anyway, you are simply wrong, wrong, wrong. How did all that kool-aid taste?

reply

And more people voted for her. Imagine that !

Why Sure they did... IF you count the votes of (1) dead people (Liberals, Conservatives and anyone in between), (2) repeat votes, (3) illegal non-citizens, (4) machine switcheroos and (5) whatever other way Demonic-rats can acquire fraudulent votes, which they're notorious for doing.

Also, take California (where there's massive voter fraud) out of the 2016 vote tally and Trump easily won the popular vote.

reply

I'm so glad you don't represent actual thoughtful Americans. That would be an embarrassment.
You sound like that guy who shot up the pizza parlor looking for a child sex ring. Just repeat whatever nonsense appeals to your twisted fantasies.

reply

You can't face the facts of your political party's glaring corruption so you resort to worthless irrelevance *yawn*.

reply

Schiff is also a dual-citizen, so is Schumer, so is 89% of congress - follow that breadcrumb trail and you might be on to something.

reply

Loony fake news!
https://www.politifact.com/facebook-fact-checks/statements/2019/feb/25/blog-posting/no-members-congress-dont-have-dual-citizenship-isr/

reply

Nice article idiot, but the point was not whether or not members get automatic dual-citizenship, the point was about the fact that there are ANY dual citizens representing the population in Federal positions.

The 89% in the article is probably an overstatement, but there shouldn't be any. It used to be unconstitutional, until that part of the constitution was 'bent', along with others. But, as 'Bush the Lessor' acknowledged, the Constitution is nothing more than an old rag in today's world - a prop for the rubes to rally around.

Schiff & Schumer are most definitely dual-citizens, and the acknowledged ring leaders of this shitshow.

Perhaps you'd like to explain why senators and congressmen sign a loyalty pledge with AIPAC in return for campaign funding and support, or why AIPAC does not have to register as a Foreign Agent?

But you can't, can you?

So, go ahead, suck at the tit of the old alcoholic hag with a colostomy bag, who rode her husband's coattails to power - and pretend she would have been any different than Trump.

Both sides are stacked with criminals - you don't see it yet because you're a stupid broad, but you will.

reply

You are deranged. You idiots just make up you own definition of "dual-citizen".

reply

Oh great, Kielanders is posting antisemitic lies. There we have it, another Nazi for Trump.

reply

Trump's a Crypto, Dipstick - try to keep up.

You can't argue the points so you call names, typical.

You're a run-'o-the-mill follower parroting what the TeeVee tells you, and I pity the man that was stoopid enough to marry you.

By the way, it's spelled 'Auntie Seamite'.

reply

Way to argue the points, Slappy!

reply

I'm sorry, I missed the part about PROOF concerning 'Russian' hacking of a private & illegal server housing classified data, used as a dropbox for the Chinese, stored in the bathroom in a private residence of a Federal Official that runs an illegal Charity/Money-Laundering Operation that allows for the skimming of up to 90% of 'donations' for 'administrative' costs

Trump made it the old fashioned illegal way, getting in bed with the Jooish mafia that runs New York City real estate development, and later money laundering in the casino biz - not selling state secrets.

Get off your high horse you idiot, they're all criminals, including the DOJ and Law Enforcement, and they don't give a shit about you or your causes.

reply

Adam Schitt.

reply

It doesn't matter people's opinions. It clearly states impeachment is for high crimes and misdemeanors, of which there are none. Also, America has influenced foreign election long before Trump was elected. Maybe we should get off our high horse regarding Russia.

We lost our way when treasonous freaks had a clown court of impeachment and didn't cite any law that was broken.

The End.
