Movies he should have directed instead of rotting in jail

He should have directed the first Captain America movie. It started off pretty good but turned bland. McT would have made that movie much much better. Right up his ally.

Not a World of Warcraft player myself but he might have been able to hammer something of quality out of it. Also think that Atomic Blonde could have been OK if it was utterly retread and a different director. McT would have fit if they made major plot changes.

Other movies in the last few decades that would have been improved by his hand?

i wouldn't mind him taking on world of warcraft. never played it, never saw it but if it could be close to something like a conan the barbarian i'd be interested.

Indeed. Or better yet, an actual Conan movie. I loved The 13th Warrior. It had balls.

Not anymore. He spent over a year in the pokey for wire tapping someone. It is a weird tale.
I hope he directs again.

Nope. He hired some well known Hollywood detective to wire tap the producer of the worst movie he ever directed, Rollerball. When the detective got busted for lots of that kind of thing, he went down with him.

They say that he is hated in Hollywood now. I'd like to know why he wanted that producer tapped.

OMG best answer. Imagine two from him instead of TWINE and DAD. In fact, any Bond lead directed by him. I'd have gone to see this new one if he directed it (first Bond film I don't have interest in seeing)

Dredd was perfect. I would not change a thing.
Didn't much care for the writing of Snowpiercer so I don't think a better director would have menat much.

The rest I agree. McT would have made those much better.

He could have directed Patriot Games and have it star Alec Baldwin, but they both objected to the subject matter owing to their Irish roots.
