Quick Clint, make an Unforgiven sequel while you still can! At 83, Morgan Freeman is no spring chicken himself. Bad enough English Bob can't show up at the end.
shareLol! I'm not a huge prequel fan but I'd see a movie w/ Scott Eastwood blowing up a trail full of men, women, children and just about anything that walked and crawled at some point.
shareAren't you curious to see a sequel? Maybe Hackman survived the gunshot, and it turns out he didn't kill Freeman. He put a dummy in the coffin to lure Eastwood back into town. Maybe the cut-up whore gets attacked again, and Hackman does nothing, so she reaches out to Eastwood and Freeman to come back and finish the job this time.
shareHackman survived the pistol shot to the gut and the following rifle bullet to what I imagine was his mouth, face, or head? Bill Munny don't botch his murders.
shareThey could also go with a zombie type of thing. That's a hot property now. Hackman and Freeman are both back, but undead. Eastwood needs to stop them because they're both after that cut-up whore. Does he have it in him to put down his friend???
shareEd Asner will be 91 on November 15
From the MTM Show, Asner will be 91, Betty White is 98 (99 in January), and Leachman is 94.
Meanwhile, in the past 3 years, their younger costars Mary Tyler Moore died a month after her 80th birthday, Valerie Harper died a week after he 80th, and Georgia Engel died at 70. Gavin McLeod turns 90 in February.
the good news... living into one's 90s and 100s is becoming commonplace
shareIF that's good news...many people don't want to live that long if the 'quality' of life isn't there (such as having Alzheimers, or not living an independent life that they were used to living).
Barbara Walters is 91, and by most sources she is suffering from Alzheimers, and doesn't leave her NY apartment. She has 24/7 caregivers, and no visitors - because she doesn't recognize people any more, and is mostly non-communicative with others. She has not left her apartment in years.
That's a sad ending for someone who was so vital, and lived such a filling life until her mid-80s: her daily walks across Central Park, her business lunches, her nightly dinners with friends at local restaurants and hot spots, her weekend parties, premieres, galas...
So living in your 90s and 100s may not be for everyone.
Are you kidding? I can't wait for these people to pop their clogs, makes their movies have greater value when they're deceased.
What a miserable twat you are
shareGreater value? What, so you can get an extra fifty cents when you sell your old DVDs on eBay?
shareEver heard the expression "better to die young"? I don't get why so many actors hang around long after their acting days are over, they're not going out with a bang or anything, they're just fading to oblivion when their lives are already long over.
