why does she look SO OLD??

She is 64, but looks 84.

reply

She doesn't look 84. She looks like a 64 year old woman who hasn't had any work done.

reply

No, not at all. My mother is 66 and looks much better, without ever having anything done.

Plenty of women do!

reply

My mom is 75 and doesn't, she looks great, my grandma is 99 and looks great. My aunt, not on my mom's side, is 58 and looks older than my mom. People age differently. There isn't one way an 84 year old looks, and there isn't one way a 64 year old looks.

reply

Tell me more about your Grandma, is she single?

reply

No, no, no, a thousand times no! She has craggy wrinkles, which is not the same as wrinkles that you get from aging. Maybe she has bad genes, has been lying about her age or had a lifestyle that damaged her skin (too much sun, drinking, etc.). Regardless, she has the craggy wrinkling of a Keith Richards and Mick Jagger.

reply

So, she has wrinkles. That doesn't make her look 84.

reply

she looks 79 honestly.

reply

I honestly didn't know that 79 had a specific look.

reply

yeah, its called Linda Hamilton.

Please, this is not a woman in her 60's:

reply

Well if that picture is from 2019, then she was 63. So yes, that is a woman in her 60s.

There is no magic way any one should look. I hope that you age with more grace than you are giving her.

reply

You are coming off as a total idiot, so I am done here.

reply

Really, how am I being an idiot?

I disagree with you. She was around 63 years old when that picture was taken. You said.

Please, this is not a woman in her 60's:
I'm stating that she is in her 60s, so therefore it is a picture of a woman in her 60s.

Seriously though. Does she have more wrinkles than other women in their 60s? Sure. But when it comes to actresses how many of them have had lifts? How many women in this world go through Botox? Microdermabrasion? Fillers? Laser treatments because they are so afraid of aging? It's sick, and I hate the cosmetic industry for making women feel like shit for being natural. That is what is idiotic here.

Maybe Hamilton smoked a lot, maybe she liked the sun and didn't use sunscreen. Maybe she didn't moisturize? I don't know, I don't care. I said before, people age differently.

What I do care about is how people don't have any issues commenting on how other people look. You've said your mom is younger than her and doesn't look that old. Great. That's good for her. She probably took care of her skin. That doesn't mean that it's fine to make rude comments about someone who didn't, or maybe did, but just doesn't have great genes when it comes to aging.

reply

No, I said my mother is two years older than Linda Hamilton but looks a lot younger, because LH looks like someone in her 80's.

And no, my mother never took particular care of her skin - I can't even get her to use sunscreen. And she hasn't had any work done whatsoever.

Obviously she's aged a lot since she was in her 30's or 40's, but it's still nowhere near as bad as LH.

reply

Sorry, I did mean to type that your mom looks younger, that was my mistake.

I'm not arguing that Hamilton doesn't have more wrinkles than average, I just think that it's sad that our society thinks that it's something to be ashamed of, and that we should spend a ton of money not to have it happen. I don't know if you are male or female, but they start to hammer us when we are young. Anything anti aging costs more.

Some women age well naturally. My mom did. Great, good for her, good for your mom. Some women don't.

Ageism is an issue for everyone, but I feel that it is worse for women. I've said before that a woman's worth is equal to much men want to fuck her, and this post and so many others on this site keep proving my point over and over again.

She looks like she's in her 80's.

My Dad is 66 and she's got about a thousand more face wrinkles than him.

She's a chain smoker, and that's what smoking does to your skin, it ages it.

reply

It's either genetic, or she didn't take care of herself, or all those hours with Hollywood makeup glommed. I don't know if she ever drank or smoked..a lot of people in Hollywood use drugs, a lot of times to keep their weight down. Also I think sitting on a movie set for weeks on end is pretty bad for your health. My point is unhealthy lifestyles are something we all should avoid.
Update: Looks like she's a smoker.

Ebhaynz, she's a chain smoker.

reply

This is what a lifetime of cigarette smoking does to your face. I'm a few years older than she is and she could pass for my mom. Even worse, she probably gets winded walking up three stairs.

reply

That is what 64-65 looks like, for a white person who has no body fat, who likes being out in the sun, who smokes, and who doesn't get botox, fillers, or plastic surgery.

You can see such people all over the desert states, but you'll never see them in the mass media.

reply

Yeah I was gonna say if she gained 10-15 pounds she’d probably look younger/healthier.

reply

She's old

reply

She was so hot.

reply

We have very different ideas about what “hot” is.

reply

She looks ancient because that's how white people do it. All fun in the sun without sunscreen, sunglasses, or a hat. The sun is extremely damaging.

reply

No, my mother is two years older than her and looks much younger.

reply

Which means Linda took less care of herself than your mother.

reply

I don't know about that. My mother never smoked, though.

reply

She's a smoker. Smoking destroys your looks.

reply

Jamie Lee Curtis looks so old too. She's 63.

reply

Yeah, I agree she looks older.
